I'm not arguing that point. Did you look at the threads? They're releasing these two in particular as exclusives through their own website. Why use TT to release exclusives when they're already doing it themselves?

Default I want, I want, I want

I would like TT to release:

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (Sony, too big?)
Red Rock West (Sony)
Midnight Clear (was Sony, has reverted to Beacon, WS version and director commentary done)
Pump Up the Volume (New Line; too modern/youth-oriented?)

I hope sony and other labels will release more such movies after they sold well at a small label like TT

I hope they release them all as well. So we can all coexist in harmony.

I also want Dragonslayer, Something Wicked This Way Comes, and The Black Hole.

Twilight Time Blu-rays of the above movies > Disney Movie Club Exclusive Blu-rays of the above movies

"The Buddy Holly Story" came in the mail last week. Did anyone else get an insert that was kinda screwed up? Mine has creases in it and looks like it was folded or something. I wish I could get it replaced.

You can. Just email them telling them of the damage (attach a picture if you're able to), and they'll send out out a replacement in no time.

Same thing happened to me last year.

Just picked up my mail and opened Man Hunt. On the movie case there are black streaks all over, looks like a pissed off kid took a Crayola crayon and drew all over the case. It doesn't bother me, just a first for this sort of thing. I can scratch off the black streaks with my finger nail, but the case will have to be traded in to Movie Stop and I'll switch for another movie's case. The art work is not damaged, but pretty harsh creases where the streaks were. I've got it in a book to flatten it back out.

Or maybe it's Lionsgate, who seem to be quite lax when it comes to their catalog titles. Sure, most of the catalog titles they'd have to offer would be more recent films than TT has released so far, but...

The real kicker would be if it was Lionsgate, and TT was able to sub-license various of the StudioCanal titles that Lionsgate has the rights to.
I don't think it's Disney. Much like WB, they are too proud and stubborn to sub-license their catalogue. That said, Touchstone and Hollywood Pictures titles might be in the mix for TT.

Lionsgate would be great. They are my second choice, btw.

We'll see....Hopefully, they will start rolling them out soon.

yeah, it's not going to be disney or Uniersal... Disney learned the hard way when they sublicensed out to Anchor Bay years ago....then fought like tooth and nail to get their catalog title rights back... they won't make that mistake twice.

While Ulee's Gold rights are held by MGM in the US, the last media rights holder for Ruby in Paradise appears to be Republic and that would be less likely. If anyone would issue Ruby on BD, look at Olive Films as they have done some in the past.

+1 for The Black Hole.
(which has an excellent John Barry score by the way.)

I also would not mind revisiting Condor Man on blu-ray.
(TT (or Screen Archives) has released a Condor Man soundtrack CD some time ago)
