Edit: the red banner with the white text was still there, but I double checked and all the info I typed is still there. I think I'm ok.
Same here, having entered my shipping & card details and logged out and back in I still get the red banner.
However I tried out a dummy order that allowed me to go all the way to the payment screen so I'm hoping that means I'll be ok when it comes to ordering

It's a static notice and thus it will continue to display even if you update your info.

Eventually figure such things out on your own, like I did, a month ago.

That is to say, I placed two separate orders in that timeframe.

Well yeah if my patience kept my frustration at bay (unlikely)

A simple post by another member has stopped me getting into a state and throwing my iPad out the window

I hope I speak for the majority here when I ask that folks who have TT blus to sell not post advertisements for their "sales" in this thread. There have now been two of these in the past few days. There are other places specifically for that on Blu-ray.com.

Thanks.

I want to advertise in here so bad but I shall refrain.

Please explain what I'm supposed to figure out on my own?
1. Site allows me to log in.
2. Account info shos an old address from 2 years ago.
3. Does not accept new address info when typed in.
4. Links to credit card info, shipping info do not work. I'm just brought to the first page again.
5. I cleared all cookies on 2 sources, my IPad and imac.
6. Tried to log in using roommates iPad. Same problem, so it couldn't involve cookies.
7 couldn't open a new accout with existing email.
8 couldn't open a new accout with a new email.
9. Ironically I can click on link for orders and past orders show up....even with the correct address.

...ok so who here has had to go through this to get the Screen Archives site to work?

Their security update works soo well, it doesn't allow anyone access!

"Anyone?" Since I haven't ordered anything since they did their security update, I hadn't gone in to make sure I'm set up properly until yesterday. I had absolutely no problem. Logged in OK, my user profile and shipping address were fine, and the only thing I had to do was re-enter my CC info. And obviously, there are a number of other people here who apparently have no problem, either.

So...whatever their update entailed, it certainly didn't break their system entirely, nor even for a majority of their customers. If it was affecting a significant percentage of their customer base, we can be confidant that they would've rolled back, and placed a notice on their home page to that effect.

Given all this, it seems clear (to me, anyway) that the problem is at your end. And by that, I absolutely do not mean that I don't think you know what you're doing. I mean that there's an incompatibility between their update and your software. You say that you've tried on an imac and ipad. Perhaps it's an issue with Apple software that their new encryption scheme isn't playing well with it. What browser are you using? Have you tried using a different one? That would seem to me to be an obvious first step.

I had no issues and based on his post it does appear to be related to Apple and their browser. Possibly with their default settings. It may be preventing redirects or not allowing the site to store info in cookies.

For what it's worth, I use Safari on my iMac, and I didn't have any issues with updating my address and payment info, nor have I messed around with any of Safari's settings.

It doesn't necessarily mean it's not a factor, but it's not a foregone conclusion that that's the problem either. Still, it wouldn't hurt to try a different browser, just in case...

What idiot company does something like this days before their biggest preorder since Christine?

Thanks,
Don
I just updated mine. Maybe you just failed their security test.

Try a different browser, e.g., Firefox. (Even with all my ad blockers etc no problem making the changes. Unfortunately, I ended up ordering 2 soundtrack CDs while I was at it.)

This was on a Mac, by the way. (Snow Leopard)

Angry Re-release of Fright night Blu-ray?

Anyone know if this would be released again by chance? The price of the blu-ray is crazy. When they start doing this in limited numbers it only benefits the scalpers. I have seen this so many times with all kinds of things and it is ridiculous.

TT will be re-releasing it next year. Also, Sony has also released this overseas.

Hello, and thank you for your suggestions. I will be calling Screen Archives tomorrow morning. Yes I tried Firefox also and I got the same results. It's possible that my account got screwed up someway. I have the same IPad and Imac settings as everyone else. I tried this from 3 sources. Why would an address in my profile show up that was 2 years ago?

I will take this up with them tomorrow....worse comes to worse I will request my accounts to be deleted and I will start over.

Sorry for the rants... I am tech savvy, that is why this is completely frustrating.
