Why would an address in my profile show up that was 2 years ago?

I will take this up with them tomorrow....worse comes to worse I will request my accounts to be deleted and I will start over.

Sorry for the rants... I am tech savvy, that is why this is completely frustrating.
I wouldn't hold out too much hope with their customer service. I stopped buying CDs from Screen Archives a few years ago because of checkout problems (at that time it either crashed or wouldn't allow me to use credit cards as a payment option, so I had to opt for paying by check and get them to enter my credit card details on their end). Despite being a regular customer for years, I got a snarky email saying that it 'didn't wash' that there were any bugs in their system and they were now simply too big to waste the time to deal with it. Like a lot of businesses, they had that customer-friendly tendency to pretend any compatibility problems a dispensible number of their customers had were figments of their imagination.

Thank you, everyone for your help and assistance. I got an email from Screen Archives and they corrected the glitch. They were terrific and handled it this morning. OH GOD.....I was sweating there...I cannot live without this Wednesdays BLOB!

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but Thunderbirds are a Go/Thunderbirds 6 will be released in Germany. Not sure about specs, but might be a good option when the TT disc sells out, or if you want to buy elsewhere.

I've never been charged tax there. They have no base in my state.

Also, if you click on Shipping Rates at the top of the SAE page :

i dont doubt that.. but on top of the usuall 45-55$ i would have to pay another 19% of tax... and that leaves me with a 60-65$ bluray that i could very well buy in france or italy

would jump on a 50$ shipped copy.. same for body double

cheapeast copy i see on ebay is 63$ + 11$ shipping + Tax ~15$

I wish you luck. The transfer and audio, are both breathtaking. I have both titles.

As to your question for noir recommendations, Violent Saturday and Experiment In Terror.

Leave Her to Heaven (its color noir!). Experiment in Terror is a good suspense thriller in B&W but pushing it to call it noir IMHO.

Btw, not sure if you have looked into it but TCMShop's exclusive release of The Lady From Shanghai is a must have noir.

You're pushing it further to call Leave Her to Heaven noir, I'd call it silly melodrama.

In my opinion, Leave Her to Heaven qualifies as a film noir. We've got a femme fatale, and a man who is sucked in because of his own weaknesses. We've also got a "This will not end well." vibe during most of the film. The visual cues are pretty much spot-on as well, even if the film is in color.

I think you've got to have more than just two film noir elements to make it noir, otherwise you can classify just about anything as film noir. Especially those two elements.

You're right there - it
[Show spoiler]ends idiotically. LHTH has one of the stupidest, most ludicrous endings you'll ever see in a movie.

It's available in Europe. I think France. Do a search in the database and you should find it. I remember seeing a post months ago with the cover (it was in the dedicated Big Heat thread, if I recall). It was pink with yellow and black. You definitely will notice it. Great film worth owning.

err, I would say quite a few noir films also overlap with being melodrama or even silly melodrama in some cases. But as The Great Owl has pointed out, thematically and visually LHTH is similar to other noir films, its just not in black and white.

Now you obviously dont like the film (and actually nor do I although its amazingly shot) but not sur why that impacts whether its noir or not.
