Was it with Christine where someone also accidentally purchased all remaining copies by playing the cart game? Thus it slowed down the sell out given that everyone already thought it had sold out and people had to wait for SAE to make the adjustment.

I just placed my pre-order for The Blob and got my confirmation e-mail immediately, so everything went smoothly for me, at least.

That's how I interpreted a bunch of the previous posts... unless y'all were referring to autographed copies ?

Also, how did that member get an orange Blu ray case for Christine ?
Mine is blue.

Okay...I understand now. I'm just an old fart that's never cared about autographs, or a lot of things younger people do care about.
Hence, not my first thoughts.
Thanks for the clarification, enjoy.

Passed on The Blob. I've never seen it and I'm not spending $35 with shipping on a blind buy. I was more than happy to order The Believers though!

Put in my pre orders an hour ago on the dot. Even with the site getting crushed, order went through fairly easy. Glad to see their website handling the traffic much better than back in the Christine days.

Looks like signed Buddy Holly blu was there for about 4 minutes or so before it vanished:

Man Hunt
Killer Elite
Dogs of War
Follow That Dream
Buddy Holly Story (Autographed)

Afraid I was going to miss out on the autographed, with all The Blob pre-orders, but was able to get a copy.

Site was slower than the last few pre-orders, though.

I had already read the book when the movie came out, so I knew where it was going and can't comment on how well it was handled throughout the movie.

[Show spoiler]Since it didn't have to SHOW anything, the book could handle conversations between the twins as if nothing was unusual. I really didn't see it coming.

So far it's all been from the Flint films and not the altered version from Austin Powers, which I think means Flint has more staying power.

The second and third Austin Powers movies were so bad it's easy to forget how many funny references to the '60s are packed into the first one.

Bye Bye Birdie is a great choice. It's one of the best color film transfers that I've seen in the Blu-ray format, and the film is fun on its own terms.
