Grabbed The Twilight Samurai, When The Wind Blows and Judgment at Nuremberg. I had the opportunity and thought about going for Salvador autograph but opted not to since that would've meant more $.

so excited for Birdman of Alcatraz; one film I had hoped for a long time would come to bd.
now how bout TT getting The Defiant Ones and King Rat.
imo those would be two excellent choices for future release.

Well, unless you pick 3 of the older $34.95 titles...

I noticed that their listing for Judgment at Nuremberg shows the running time as 179 minutes. The MGM DVD has a running time of 186 minutes. I'm wondering if that means that the TT Blu-ray will be missing the Overture and Exit Music that are on the DVD.

I'm not really a seasoned TT buyer, but I'm guessing that The Blob will be gone tomorrow as many may have been drawn to the site for either the autograph or the new releases...

I'm new to wanting to order from Twilight Time; how long would you say The Twilight Samurai will stay in stock before selling out?

Also, does Twilight Time have many sales, coupons, etc?

What is the best place to keep track when a certain title is low on quantity?

I want to order Judgment at Nuremberg, but there are other titles on the next months i want and prefer to order all in one go if they don't sell out too fast.

Yeah, I'd say this is their highest-profile name for these so far. Their access to him makes me think I should hold off on HEAVEN AND EARTH and prioritize other titles on my next orders in case it's available as a future promo.

That was surprisingly easy, no hammering F5, no site paralysis or items vanishing mid order. Got the signed Salvador and a few of the low stock items which I shall use as Christmas presents.

Oh. I'll just check with them.

Has anyone had this happen before and had it cancel? These signed promos are cool, but if you are adding pre-orders as well it's almost impossible to get them in time!

There's an overinflated idea that Twilight Time titles sell out very quickly. The fact is that very few titles have sold out in less than a month, and the quick sellers have been mostly the 80s horror titles. The quickest sell-outs that are not 80s horror films took two months to sell out.

There are no guarantees, though. If you really want a title, and are worried that it might sell out, your best option is to get it as soon as possible. At the very least, you won't have to worry about it any longer.

Twilight Time posts "low quantity alerts" on their Facebook page every so often. They are almost guaranteed to be re-posted here by someone.

Ya, it's best to try to order titles from a month before so that you can have your cart filled and then all you have to do is jump on the autographed one and check out. I tried last month to get the signed Buddy Holly, but by also preordering the new releases which took more time which was a mistake, and on top of that the site was freezing a lot because of BLOB mania, so by the time I was on final page of checkout, Buddy Holly had disappeared.

I hope no one missed out on the
SALVADOR (1986) AUTOGRAPHED copy because they went up early.
I noticed at 12:58 pst.And they usually go in less than 4 mins.

Also Bought
BYE BYE BIRDIE (1963)
MAN IN THE DARK 3-D (1953)
THE EDDY DUCHIN STORY (1956)
LA BAMBA (1987)

Be nice if TCM Shop had another sale.I could pick up some more TT releases.

I would say you could safely wait until next month before ordering Judgment at Nuremberg, but I was wrong about The Train, so who knows? Generally, action movies and cult/genre titles sell out faster than serious drama.

The Train took exactly two months to sell out (was up for pre-order on 5/21/14, was announced as sold out on 7/21/14).

Rollerball was the other fastest-selling non-horror title, and it also took two months to sell out (up for pre-order on 4/23/14, sold out on 6/26/14).

Yeah, I put off ordering The Train because I was going away on vacation in July and didn't want it delivered while I was away. When I came back from vacation, it was gone, baby, gone

The Malcolm McDowell signing was pretty big too.

Oddly enough, the one that I would've liked to have gotten the most is Journey to the Center of the Earth signed by Pat Boone. Not that I'm a big PB fan, but I've always enjoyed the hell out of that film, and I just think it'd be cool to have a copy signed by one of the stars.

It's not a question of having a release signed by one of its stars, it was having that particular film (JttCotE) signed by one of its stars.

I would really like to see them release At Close Range (1986), Birdy (1984), Catch 22 (1970), Cloak & Dagger (1984), Dragonslayer (1981), Explorers (1985), The Hitcher (1986), The Last Dragon (1985), Memoirs Of An Invisible Man (1992), North Dallas Forty (1979), Real Genius (1985), Three O'Clock High (1987), because I can't see any other studios releasing these.
