Doh!! Ever since the December titles were announced, I was excited because I thought TT was releasing Billy Wilder's The Fortune Cookie (1966). Just now I realized it is actually The Fortune (1975). I misread the title four weeks ago when I was updating the OP.

I had seen it on TV in a pan-and-scan version, and maybe once or twice letterboxed, and knew in advance it had its moments but often suffered from slow pacing and wooden acting despite its spectacular art design and interesting themes. It's one of the original posters. I wasn't sure at first either, having only being really familiar with the one feauring Tommy Lee Jones.

Just a heads-up for those interested in our release of Oliver Stone's masterly HEAVEN & EARTH, which is available for pre-order on Nov 19th. At the request of the licensing studio, this blu-ray will be REGION A locked.

Heaven and Earth is only the second TT Blu-ray to be Region A locked. The other one is The Disappearance, which is licensed from a company in the UK.

I have now added this information to the first post in this thread.

could mean there will be a german release as well. (salvador was released in germany ... 1/3 of the price of the TT release.)

Yeah? Where? List price on amazon.de is 21€, around $27. German edition is on of that half the video bitrate of the TT release and with 16 bit audio.
