I liked The Others when I checked it out on YouTube several months ago, but I personally don't need to own it. It's definitely worth seeing, though.

Actually, it's just THE OTHER...THE OTHERS is a more recent horror flick starring Nicole Kidman. Anyhow, I'll second THE OTHER, BELL BOOK AND CANDLE, and LEAVE HER TO HEAVEN as all excellent choices. I have yet to see THE BELIEVERS.

Damn! I was all set, logged in, had other titles already in the cart. By the time I checked out, all of the H&E copies were gone. 2 minutes.

Anyone know how many were available?

Wow! I put everything in my cart at 4:00pm. Then, I went downstairs to check the CCV on my credit card. When I got back upstairs to type in the CCV and hit submit 3-4 minutes later, they were all gone. I totally did not expect them to sell out that quickly.

Man, I almost missed that one. Kept entering the wrong CCV number. Realized on the third try that I had updated my account to a new card. Was sure I was gonna miss out, but somehow it went through. Woo hoo.

Damn. I teach until 4 and ran back to my office to get on SAE but it was gone. I so wanted a signed copy to go with my signed copy of Salvador.

HA! I hit refresh and lo and behold the signed copy was back up again. I got one, ma, I got one! Confirmed in my order history.

Update 4:12pm. Cart game says there's 26 still left.

When there's a notable name attached to the signature, you gotta have everything all prepped. I also lost out on one I really wanted awhile back because I didn't have my CCV ready. NEVER AGAIN!

Though strangely, the picture is of a Blu-Ray, yet the page says CD, not Blu-Ray. I'm hoping it's the Blu-Ray, since I hadn't heard anything about a CD being offered.

I did not expect that either, but I guess Oliver Stone is a big enough name for people to want it, especially as the reviews of that particular disc have been less than stellar. Here's hoping next month's auto is someone more obscure, I have neither the time nor the inclination to go back to joining these feeding frenzies. I'd glady take an autograph of the 2nd unit director on Breaking Away if it means a free movie.
