I kinda feel bad, it looks like my order of Love and Death (and other Allen blus) are expected to be delivered to me today. |

I'm surprised by this for exactly the same reason. For the past year, they've been giving low quantity alerts if a title is even nearing 500. The last update didn't even mention Picnic, and now it's suddenly less than 300?

I don't do Fakebook, so could someone ask TT if they have considered releasing any of the following Fox controlled titles?--
Valley of the Dolls Beyond The Valley of the Dolls The Ox-Bow Incident Anastasia Peyton Place thanks so much in advance, and please post back if they give a response. ![]() (cannot believe none of these titles have made it out yet besides a foreign release of Ox-Bow that is supposedly substandard) Last edited by Arkadin; 02-20-2015 at 06:30 PM. |

FOX did a great job with the original DVD releases of the Dolls films. Awesome Slipboxes and bonus features. (I miss and loved those DVD slipboxes I wish the slip box would have caught on more so than the slipcovers IMO but I would bet they cost more to make) I know the original Star and Stripes Forever BLU release contained the blu in a cool slipbox. |

Maybe there was a spurt in sales on last couple of promo's.

I think it's just that they either forgot to include it, or they decide it wasn't worth mentioning until it dipped to below 300, since the rate of sales has been so slow (so that an alert at 300 still gives everybody plenty of heads up, as that could last several months, even with the alert).
Also it could be an attractive title for the promos lately, like mentioned above. Since it combines well with a $24.95 title to get the $119.80 required. |

I, like many, don't always have the luxury of making sure I am at a computer on pre-order day. Fortunately, the days when it is critical to order on the first day pre-orders go live are almost none, but I did lose out on a chance for signed copies when they were tied to the pre-order (thank you TT for moving these chances to a different day). No title except Christine sold out that fast. As luck would have it, I was indeed in the field on Christine day with no cell phone data service available (there are boosters in the field trucks but these are for work use only). However, I was able to leave early that evening and drive the 45 miles back into town to order from the hotel. I was pretty nonplussed about the whole thing at the time (too busy with work to think about it), and felt confident Christine would be available even if I couldn't order until the next day. Only when the title sold out a few hours later did I realize my good fortune. I preferred the old Friday pre-order date. I am usually in the office at 3 pm CST on that day......although, having said that, Christine did fall on the only Friday I have been caught out in the field in the past two years ![]() |

Do y'all think the 4K restoration Blu-ray of Journey to the Center of the Earth will really be that drastic of an improvement over the existing disc?
I do not own the existing Twilight Time disc, but I own the region-free Australian Blu-ray that has an identical transfer. I'm happy with my current disc, but I grew up watching this movie, and, as such, I'm intrigued by the notion of a vastly improved presentation if there is one. Right now, I'm set on pre-ordering the new disc, along with First Men in the Moon, but I'm also loath to venture too far down that rabbit hole of replacing perfectly good Blu-rays on my shelf with newer restorations. |

I'm curious to know if there will be any special features added to the new "Journey..." release (other than the isolated score track and trailer of the previous release). I'm thinking not or it would have been announced by now.
