Yeah they should go fast. However The Blob lasted almost 10 minutes so hopefully that's a sign that everyone who is ready (meaning not having to run downstairs to get the 3 digit code on the back of the CC, lol) will be able to get one.

Surprised they haven't given any updates regarding Journey and First Men quantities remaining. Must be plenty left.

Yeah, safe assumption. I'd be pretty surprised if either of them sells out before release date. I preordered them anyway because I might get them early that way :P

From what I understand it is extremely rare if not impossible to get orders early from Screen Archives. I believe they don't even ship out their orders until release day.

They sent out the blob before the release date, but that may have just been cause it sold out?

It just depends really. They typically ship when they receive the discs. Sometimes thats a week early and sometimes it's actually after release date. Then of course they only have a couple of employees who ship and they don't ship and any sensible order so it may take a while for them to ship yours. I have gotten a few early though and then I have gotten a few like a week after release date.

Pricing just depends on the DVD. My Columbia Film Noir sets sold for an avg of $30 used...some Criterions are going for $25 a piece used...
Of course, my new Blu-ray of The Big Heat just cost me $63! WTF?!?!

It makes sense because the free movie is OOP and therefore worth more. The benefit to us is that adding a title makes it a little less attractive for scalpers. And the fewer the scalpers competing for this, the better, IMO.
