Dang it, I keep forgetting that they have a sale around this time. Really bad time to be broke haha. I wanted a few from last year and will be interested what they sale this year.

Well, they only had one previous sale, last year, so it's not like there was a pattern that you failed to note. Until Monday, there was no indication that they would have another sale this year.

Ditto. In Canada buying one regular priced disc at a time comes to almost $50 because of extra shipping and the exchange rate on our pathetically weak dollar

I have a funny story about Under Fire. I was watching it at a third run theater in South San Fran with my mother. Mixed neighborhood. It was in English with Spanish subtitles. Then a reel changeover came, and ... something was wrong ... the next reel was Spanish-dubbed, with English subtitles. Took us a full minute to figure out what had changed. Next reel ... it changed back to English with Spanish subtitles. Again it took a minute to realize what had changed....

Watching MAN HUNT now ... I think I remember seeing ROGUE MALE in the 1970s or 80s, and then reading the Geoffrey Household book.

Oh, snap. I recall hearing about EXPERIMENT IN TERROR, but didn't realize until looking it up on IMDB that one of the filming locations was my high school in San Francisco. Tempted to buy it JUST to see that.

Yeah, I ordered Obsession CD along with some TT preorders, and now realized that it was also a preorder which has not been released yet... I really wanted that CD and it was limited, so I guess it was ok to order it at the same time as TT blu.

Yes to the first question and no to the second. They do give you a break on shipping the more you order.

Will SAE accept a second order for JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH and FIRST MEN IN THE MOON if the total doesn't exceed three of each movie?

I received my order of one each of JTTCOTE and and FMITM, but I'm thinking of placing another order for another of one each which would mean I ordered two copies each of JTTCOTE and FMITM (plus some titles from today's sale).

Never order just one disc if you're Canadian.

As noted, it's expensive to order one disc but the additional shipping cost for more discs is very small. It's worth your while to order a few discs at a time.

BTW, I remember the buck at about 66 cents US (about 30 years ago). So our "pathetically weak" 80 cent Us dollar today is all relative.

I agree, also 3 or more and it gets shipped in a box.

I remember those painful days, but an 80 cent dollar doesn't help either, the only good thing is the cheaper gas.
