I posted it in the TT sale thread. I know many of the long time TT followers/fans have probably read it, but if there are people like me (just discovered them not too long ago,) this is a fantastic read.

the first few questions are dull, but the meat of the article (the TT business model) is fascinating.
It is a good interview . It also proof that a certain individual who posts as if he has an idea of what is going on with the Blu-ray market, is clueless at best. You know he who posted with great authority for years about the 3,000 limit being based on the "magazine rate" and the studio not having to pay royalties...his posts are all over this thread...yeah, same guy who had it out with me and a few others because he kept arguing, that the master TT used for The Fury was superior to the one Arrow was going to use on their release...on what was his basing his aggressive postings? On nothing.

No idea. I got email today saying my second order (made on March 29) has shipped. My first order (made on the 25th) has a pre-order for Zardoz in it, so I don't expect it to ship for at least another week.

Enemy Mine certainly took a while to sell out (1½ years), but Rollerball sold out in 2 months. I wouldn't think Rollerball would be completely off the table for TT, and given that Kino's bringing it out on DVD, I wouldn't be surprised if they'd be interested in bringing it out on BD in 2017 if TT doesn't want to reissue it. I suppose it would depend on what the BD market is like in 2017, though.

Anyone know when TT will be updating quantities left from after the sale? I'm interested to see how it went.

I think they said it would be more towards the middle of the month before they would have all of that info.

Received my copy of Leave Her To Heaven today after finally deciding to replace the old dvd, and glad I did... it looks absolutely gorgeous. Really nice artwork on the booklet too and was happy to see a slightly different (and more pleasing) design on the disc compared to the cover.

Nice job SAE & Twilight Time ! My 3 films just arrived in mint condition, in a sturdy, undamaged box, wrapped in bubble wrap that was magically sealed by film-loving elves.

Seriously, thank you.

Does anyone know how long it takes for them to ship? I ordered La Bamba from them a few days ago and it still says processing on my bank account and on their website it says pending.

From reading other posts they're still catching up on shipping Anniversary Sale orders from the last couple weeks and with the new releases next week it may take a bit.

Assuming you don't have a pre-order which won't ship until they get their copies from Cinram, the only thing to do is wait. My last 2 orders took 14days and 20 days past release date to ship though that was unusual due to the Cinram issues.

Big general rules with lots of exceptions -- other than randomness is that orders with 1 or 2 items seem to be packaged earlier than larger orders and domestic orders seem to ship before international order. Normally I expect my preorders to ship by the weekend after release date since I rarely order less than 3 items together which gets me a shipping box and often bumped to Priority Mail
Well that kind of business handling will turn most people off from ordering with them. Most companies small or big get the order ready when they recieve your order. Well I hope I recieve this before May lol.

I placed a 4 item order with NO preorders on 3-31, and it says PENDING. If that's any help....

EDIT: And...I received a Shipping Notice today 4-10...so 10 days for me.

I'm sure they are still playing catch up from the TT birthday sale last week. I find they usually ship out between 3-5 business days normally.

They are an extremely small company. Two co-owners and a couple of people in the shipping "department" are about it. And they just got completely swamped with their Anniversary sale orders.

I placed an order for 14 titles on April 1 and mine is still pending as well. It will get here eventually. They always do. You just have to be patient.

I just had my March 30th order ship.

8 or 9 titles, no preorders. But, it did include my copy of Bell, Book and Candle.

sorry but small company or no, its pretty unreasonable not to ship an order 2 weeks after its placed.. or am i wrong here? it's been 15 days since I've ordered, and my order with no "preorders" has not shipped.

That is unusual for them. I recommend sending Ed a quick note via email .
