Fever Pitch must be dramatically under achieving in it's sales....

It is the only one I could find being sold by Amazon directly....

Actually all the ones posted by gr451 are sold directly by Amazon. Some automatically default to the Amazon listing and for others if you look at the other sellers you can find Amazon's direct listing.

This is an interesting twist of events. I wonder if Amazon is ordering from SAE's web site of whether they made some sort of deal with SAE.

I think someone from TT may need to explain this. Their limited edition titles are supposed to be SAE exclusives. A couple of those titles on Amazon are less than SAE prices of $29.95.

Should we now wait to see if other TT titles will be offered directly by Amazon? Maybe Amazon just took advantage of the sale and that's why shipping has been so slow?

Purple Rose of Cairo (and maybe some of the others) wasn't part of the sale, so it's odd it's cheaper. It kind of makes me want to buy from amazon now if this means the titles could suddenly disappear cause of amazon ordering them all up. :P

Be carful there was another movie that came out a few years ago with the same title I would check to see which one the are selling

I tried looking up the movie the fantasticks on blu ray that twilight time is releasing and it doesn't appear on Amazon. So I have no idea why those titles are on Amazon and this one isn't?

It's not a first, per se, as they, or TT, now provides some copies to TCM for sale.

However, here are a few more that I found that are sold directly by Amazon.

There is definitely a change going on...Even Deep Discount through Amazon has some titles for only $26.67.....

Does make me wonder how someone else is retailing TT titles for less than Screen Archives....

They probably bought titles during the sale when they were $10 less.

For example - buy Lenny for $20, sell at $27, which is still $3 less than the regular $30 price.

The non-sale titles are weird, though.

If this remains true, then I have mixed feelings. TT will sell their stock quicker and if they only have the 3,000 copies then they are going to sell out quicker. It means I will have to act sooner than ever if I am interested in a movie. I may be forced to forgo some that are more marginal.

I liked the way SAE packaged the movies, but the latest delay in filling orders may have given TT some concern. The other possiblities are that TT needs to rapidly deplete their stock or they are able to put out more than 3,000 copies.

I don't have Facebook, but someone should ask them about it on their page and see if they can clarify. They seem to respond on that site. Frankly, it would be nice to get some titles from other retailers considering SAE's shipping issues.

SAE is also selling through amazon!
At least I saw a TT title that was listed by SAE as a third party seller there.

Yes but there are a few that are being sold directly by Amazon that people have found which make it confusing now.
