Amazon is not in the business of buying a couple of dozen movies from another retailer to make a couple of dollars...not going to happen. Something else is at work . It is painfully obvious that SAE is having a heck of a time handling the TT orders in a timely manner...at least during the promotions.

I missed the TT sale because I bought really redic expensive concert tickets and I wish I could have done the TT 20.00 sale because I was behind on titles and I could have taken advantage of it.

I did order Purple Rose of Cairo from this seller as NEW shipped by amazon for
$28.77 (the sellers price keeps going up throughout the day) just because that isn't a bad price and it has to be a legit copy they just bought stock from SAE Id assume.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I am still kicking myself that I lost out on great titles like Bunny Lake is Missing and Birdman/Alcatraz

as for someone who noted Deep Discount price on TT titles unless Amazon has the stock to ship it I would be cautious for sure, I have had ordered canceled because they thought they had stock and then didn't I learned my lesson. Besides I'd rather order TT titles direct from SAE then most anyone else.

This is what people are talking about. Fever Pitch 1997 is being sold directly by Amazon.

Yes, I'm aware of that. What I was also pointing out is that on some TT titles Amazon and SAE are both selling the same title on Amazon ... effectively competing against each other.

Also interesting to note, as TT continues to increase their catalog it also requires more warehouse space, which costs money, for them to store those unsold titles. TT has stated in the past that SAE takes a portion of each release and the rest are stored in the Cinram warehouse until SAE needs more copies. As the TT catalog continues to grow larger SAE would require more space, or more frequent shipments from Cinram assuming smaller shipments, to store those unsold copies. And we all know SAE is a very small company.

You should at least get your facts straight before you post on their Facebook page. SAE doesn't exclusively retail TT releases. TCM has been selling them for quite some time now.

They haven't been SAE exclusives for a while now. They're also available from the TCM Store:

http://shop.tcm.com/twilight-time-re...twilight-times

though generally in very limited quantities (I suspect that they get a small number of copies in of each title, and don't re-order once those are gone). I think some folks had even been able to snag some OOP titles from TCM within days of them selling out at SAE.

This is strange. They sure are on Amazon.

SAE has used Amazon with a seller account, but this is the first I have seen it with a direct Amazon listing.

I went ahead and ordered The Wayward Bus. more out of curiosity than anything else. I'll report back on how quickly it arrives. I have Amazon Prime, so it should be Thursday or Friday.

Like many of you, I would far prefer to buy these from Amazon rather than SAE.

Are you going to see The Rolling Stones as well? I've got nosebleed seats, but they still put a dent in my monthly entertainment budget.

Back on subject, I'd rather order from SAE than Amazon, with all price things being equal. SAE has always treated me well, they've always been prompt, and they've always protected my items.

Great point and I did think about that. SAE is probably running out of space...I mean they used to mainly sell cds.

No, TT titles are not exclusive to SAE these days, but SAE has always been the main storefront and their prices have always been the cheapest. If Amazon is selling them for less than the $29.95, that's damn curious.

Rapture
When the Wind Blows
That's right. TCM has some TT as well. Even though I don't see how they sell any of them with those much higher prices. I do think it's kind of strange that all of a sudden there's all this talk about Amazon selling TT titles directly. Is it really that new of a thing or did everyone just assume it was only third party sellers selling on Amazon?

And the pricing is weird as well. Amazon has priced "Bandit" at $34.95 when SAE has it as one of the very few TT titles at $24.95. And they also have a few titles that weren't even part of the SAE sale cheaper than the usual $29.95.

It isn't that much of a big deal I guess. I will just now check Amazon before I decide to buy another TT title from SAE.

No, Madonna the most expensive tix on the planet for a solo artist. not to change the subject how expensive were good Stones seats? I really wanted to see Fleetwood Mac also but missed out on early sales.

If TT / And SAE start listing more titles on Amazon to be shipped by Amazon that is cool. I just don't want to pay more than 5.00 more the SAE pricing for the Amazon sale.

The nosebleed seats for The Rolling Stones that I have are $99 apiece. The good seats on the floor are over $400.

I've seen the Stones twice before, so there is no need for me to be up close this time around. Great live band, though!

I just checked, and the VIP tickets (first five rows on floor) are $1,750. That'll buy a lot of Twilight Time Blu-rays.

VIP$? Only if Brian is playing

About the shipping, it may take a little time but, it always has arrived and with tracking (to me, more important).
