TT still hasn't announced that fourth rerelease so maybe it will turn out to be Mysterious Island.

Christine is definitely being rereleased and might be the third one but, it's being rereleased in 2016 and, they did state 4 films were being released this year (2015) but maybe something has changed since that announcement.

It's called time value of money and return on capital, something I work with every day at work. And it isn't destroying the economy....it is the basis of the economy. But you are right, it is another issue.

In SAE news, my order from late March shipped out. In TT news, Bye Bye Birdie is down to 33.

I believe that Christine was intended to be one of the four for this year, but ended up being pushed back to 2016, likely because they wanted to wait until the 3-year window on the first release was up.

Mysterious Island and The Big Heat are the most likely candidates to be the next reissue.

What exactly does the three year window mean? I only discovered TT in February. I want to catch up with all the facts concerning this great collection.

When Twilight Time licenses a title from a studio, they pay the license fee up front for (usually) a 3000-copy press run, and a 3-year exclusivity window. That means that for a 3-year period, no one -- even the studio they're licensing the film from -- can release the title on Blu-ray in North America.

None of us here know exactly when the 3-year window starts, since we aren't privy to the contract details. We tend to assume that it starts from the official street date, but it might start with the date the contract is signed, or the date that the studio hands the master over to TT, or some other agreed-upon date.

The license only applies to Blu-ray. In some cases, for example, Kino Lorber Studio Classics has acquired DVD licenses for some titles that TT has released on Blu-ray.

Are they clear Viva Elite same as Fright Night? Because that would be perfect.

Of course if they are doing clear, they should do inside artwork. Its a bit weird when the inside is just blank white paper. However at worst the clear cases are useable swaps for certain releases that do have inside art.

Not from a preorder but from the signature sale.

My Zardoz/Richard III order from 3/25 finally shipped this morning. Had 4 B'day sale titles ordered as well, not sure if that slowed things down, but regardless all are finally on their way.

Was starting to feel like an April Fool's joke was being played upon me by SAE/TT. But my April 1st order of 7 titles did ship this morning, including Zardoz pre-order and Breaking Away signed copy (and allow me to type the other titles as I just like to see in print what I'll be getting...... ......Used Cars, Journey to the Center of the Earth, First Men In The Moon, Philadelphia, and The Other.

I wasn't worried about them being shipped as I've been following the thread and the delays forced by the birthday sale. Well, I was perhaps starting to get a little concerned about getting my free signed Breaking Away..... thought hmmm, maybe by the time my order ships, they will find they can't find my signed copy, that they mis-counted and ran out of their limited supply and I'll get screwed. ha ha

Speaking of Breaking Away I received my signed copy last week and just finished listening to the commentary track, really enjoyed it. Dennis Christopher's comments about the production were engrossing throughout

Still waiting on my 4/9 order to ship consisting of "Zardoz" (pre-order), along with "Journey to the Center of the Earth" and "First Men in the Moon". However, my 3/31 order consisting of "Richard III" (pre-order) along with "Hard Times", "Philadelphia", "Sexy Beast" and "The Vanishing" shipped on Friday and will be arriving later today.

I'm hoping the 4/9 order ships sometime later this week.

Has anybody ordered or received April Love, it doesn't seem to get mentioned on here very much. Mine should get here this week sometime, it hasn't been shown in its original Cinemascope since its release in 1957
