I think most of his reviews are pretty much on the money but you're right he does strike out once in a while like Taxi Driver, he also trashed Body Double. The Blue Max comment was from the Guide and even though he does have a staff of writers in my mind he's responsible as it's his name on the cover

Whoever wrote the review for The Brood (1979) in his book was either trying to be funny, or high.

Twilight announced on their Facebook account that thereīre going to release at least 3 more Bronson movies

At least one Bronson movie this year!

Great news. I hope for "The Stone Killer" or "Breakout". Those are Columbia films like "Hard Times".

I already have the German blu-ray of "From Noon till Three" and I donīt like "Chatoīs Land" so much.

But maybe theyīll plan to release "The Valachi Papers".

They are not gonna release "Mr Majestyk" or "Breakheart Pass" I think, because those movies were already released by Kino Lorber.

I'm hoping for Stone Killer as one of the titles. Always wanted to see it.

It's a Michael Winner film his credits are really good even when the films weren't the best they are still watchable.

I've always liked The Stone Killer (some amazing dummy action) so I hope that's one of the titles, along with Chato's Land.

Cold Sweat and Red Sun would be really cool too. I'm not sure who has the rights to those ones.

I used to get one of those every year in the 90s for Christmas. I was just a teenager and that was a tremendous resource for a budding film lover before the internet.

I get one every few years. The last one I got was the 2009 because they brought back the directors listing in the back. I think they stopped using again the following year. I may pick up the edition released last Fall since it's the last one they will make.

I wonder if they can release Jean Herman's Honor Among Thieves/Farewell, Friend. Of course, starring Charles Bronson and Alain Delon.

Sorry, I get so confused with what MGM/UA actually owns. So as far as MGM stuff, is it everything after 1986?

The DVD was put out by Lionsgate, so it seems unlikely unfortunately.

Looking at Bronson's post-1970 output, the following should be available to TT:

You Can't Win 'Em All (being a Columbia title this should be with Sony)
The Valachi Papers (Sony)
Chato's Land (MGM)
The Stone Killer (Sony)
Breakout (Sony)
From Noon Til Three (MGM)
Death Wish II (Uncut) (MGM)
10 to Midnight (MGM)
Murphy's Law (MGM)
Assassination (MGM)
The Evil That Men Do (maybe - current DVD was issued by Hen's Tooth Video; previous one by Sony)
Messenger of Death (MGM)
Kinjite: Forbidden Subjects (MGM)
The Indian Runner (MGM)
