"I had tragedy strike last night when a soda exploded and sprayed my table, floor and a little hit my movie shelf. Most movies were fine, a handful took a hit and the covers for the 2 Sinbads got drenched. Anyway, thought I'd reach out."

If it's just the covers you need, maybe you can write to TT explain what happened and see if they have any extra covers. They might.

It's a good suggestion. I will give it a try and see what they say.

Do they have sales often ? I have about 5 or 6 titles I want from them but at $30 a pop plus shipping to Canada, it's steep !!!

Your best bet is to try to purchase during the signed promos, you get 5 movies for the price of four. There is one today at 4 EST, signed copy of U-Turn but hurry because it might not last long.

Signed promo still available as of 4:20pm -- 23 copies. I would have been all over it if it were Oliver Stone signing again, but unfortunately it isn't and I have an expensive vacation coming up in August, so no go this time.

Didn't know this promo was coming up, but saw it on FB and just placed an order. I'd been holding out on buying U-Turn, which I enjoyed quite a bit when it was originally released, on the logic that the other TT Oliver Stone titles had both been promos.

Didn't someone mention a while ago that TT was going to release The Seventh Sign? Is that still happening?

Just a heads-up to let you know that I received a shipping notice for my order of thirteen BDs which included four movies released yesterday and the day before.

I think a lot of people already have it and the rest wanted Stone's John Hancock. Or TT has more than 100 to give away. I would have never thought nearly four hours and it's still available. I placed my order at 4 on the dot.

Some of the others have lasted that long. Frankly, I think part of it is that there is no appeal to Mike Medavoy's signature. Writers, directors, actors and musical composers have appeal. A production executive, no matter how "legendary" is still not going to gather a whole lot of interest. Still, if I didn't already have U-Turn, I probably would have bit just to get the freebie but I'm patient enough to wait until something I really want becomes available.

Well, I have gotten the past three freebie's and none of the signatures were of the main stars, but they were still hard to pass on. I only discovered TT in March so I'm way behind. But this free signed copy thing has limited me to one TT purchase a month. Hard to pay $30 for one or two titles when you can just wait until the freebie comes up the first or second week of the month. However, I anticipate in the coming months there will be a freebie title I already have and my streak will probably end.

Now I need to decide if I should sell the sealed copy I have or the autographed copy I got today.

Teetering over YOUNG LIONS and NIGHT OF THE GENERALS.

Anybody vouch for them?

It's hard to pass on if it's a movie that you don't have and you're getting it free as part of a promo, but if you already have the movie then it comes down to who the autograph is. If Oliver Stone had signed this (and he's signed two of his previous releases in the past), guaranteed it wouldn't have lasted ten minutes. As it stands, and no disrespect to the guy, but there isn't going to be a whole lot of appeal for the autograph of a businessman.
