Looks like Fright Night promo package at TT is still available. I already own autographed copies (old & new versions) so I'm not interested, but the slow sales can be attributed to these perhaps?

- Restricted to 5 July pre-order titles only (you cannot choose items)
- No autograph
- People unaware of/unfamiliar with the new site
- Market already saturated

I noticed the same and wondered if it has more to do with a lot of customers not wanting all five of the July releases compounded with those that already own the FN release.

That's probably it. I certainly wouldn't want all five titles, at least for now, without reading any reviews.

Is there a direct link to information regarding this promotion on their site?

I briefly looked yesterday after seeing it being talked about here, but couldn't find anything.

I think the Fright Night Promo on the new website has not sold out yet because customers may be waiting to see if there will be an autographed promo between now and the next set of pre-orders.

Well, I don't think that is likely. TT says on the website they had 60 promo copies of FN set aside for emergencies and other things. I think this will be it. I came late to the TT party and never knew about Fright Night until after it was sold out. I was resigned to the fact that I would never have a BD of that classic horror flick until it was ever released new again. But with this new TT promo I had to go for it. I only was interested in two of the new releases. (Places in the Heart and Fab Baker Boys) but I guess I could sell the other three if I decide not to watch them. I just couldn't pass up a chance to get FN, 30th anniv. edition.

Also, I wonder why A Month in the Country is only $24.95? It has some known stars like Branagh, Firth and Richardson and if I remember correctly, it used to sell on vhs at a pretty good price. I can think of several TT titles that should be less than $29.95 instead of this one.

This is a Channel 4 sourced film out of the U.K., which are all offered at the lower price point. Other Channel 4 films are Fever Pitch, The Firm, Bandit Queen, Resurrected, etc.

Are the gray cases permanent going forward, or are they only for certain releases?

So it looks like there are less than 8 Fright Night promos left....considering all of the July pre-orders are 5 star movies (at least imo) and that this is probably the last chance of ever getting a copy of FN at a decent price, I think this is a great deal. Thanks TT

Thank you, docc - we are very proud of our "5 star" lineup for July, and thought the FN promo was a great way to introduce aficionados to http://www.twilighttimemovies.com
we're very grateful for all the support thus far...

I just ordered the July lineup at the new site with the Fright Night Promo.

Excited for The Best of Everything and the commentary for Places in the Heart. Sally Field had to be some fun to sit with! She just seems so down to earth.

I had completely forgotten that she got an Oscar nod for this, and that now famous acceptance speech

Cool. Thanks.

I only have one TT release, The Blob, and I actually like the slightly thicker case they use.
