I really like the clear cases as they say "classy" to me (think: Criterion) so I bought 20 for the TT titles that I own and an extra 5 for my Warner Archive Blu-rays.

I just realized that I can't get rid of the blue case for the original JTTCOTE without getting rid of the autograph.

I have a question...is the new Twilight Time site buying directly from TT? Or is it a front by Screen Archives??

I can only hope it is a direct site since it didn't have my information etc and can't be any worse than SA....but curiosity is wicked master...lol

It's buying direct from TT; copies ship from the Cinram plant.

I won't know until I order more than one...

For First Class, it was only $2.49 which isn't bad.

- I was wondering, are there any other animation films on schedule?
- We do have one big "motion capture" project on the schedule for later this year.
Any idea what this could be?
Motion capture is the technique that was used in the latest Tintin, right?
So it must be a new film and not old..
or maybe it could be something like "Waking Life"?
(considering it doesn't have a US release and it's from FOX)

Something that shocked me -- my CC posted today for the July 15 preorder rather than waiting until release/shipment. I know for some that is a big deal.
It's just a really unusual thing to happen since I can't remember any other company that happened with except for FoxConnect when they shipped a partial order and charged the entire order as soon as the 1st item shipped.
It's possible Cinram is beginning to ship orders. TT caveated that orders will ship as soon as the discs are ready. Since these titles are released next week it's plausible the items in your order are now available.

Isn't that called Rotoscoping? Or is it still the same thing essentially?

Later this year is Nov/Dec. Polar Express 3D for Xmas? Is there a 3D Blu Ray for this one out?

There are so many releases of Polar Express and 3D, and it's Warner, so I doubt it.

edit:
Seems there aren't many choices:
http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/07/...-in-the-movies

But i can't think of any motion capture film that hasn't been released already.
Only the Sinbad one.

...and the next SAE signed promo appears to be the remastered JTTCOTE signed by actress Diane Baker, this coming Wednesday. I'll be passing on it since I already have the movie, plus just finished spending all my money on the recent Fright Night promotion

It's similar to rotoscoping, but it's not the same. Rotoscoping used filmed performances of actors as guides for character movement. The animation was still done by hand. With motion capture, the actor wears a suit with markers to help identify where each part of the body is in relation to every other part of the body as the actor moves around. This is mapped directly into a data file which is used to create a 3D model of the performance.

My order of clear cases delivered today. Pretty quick turnaround from when I ordered. Hopefully the discs will deliver as quickly.

Very nice, can you confirm that they're the actual Viva Elite cases sans Blu-ray logo?

I've decided to start from the beginning. I'm making another order today to speed up the process of switching over.
