Every two months. TT will announce the November and December slate in the first week of August.

So I heard that Twilight Time has its own store website. What are the benefits in buying from that site instead of that from SAE?

Shipping is a bit lower for one or two titles. Also, orders should ship out faster (sooner) from Cinram than SAE. There were some growing pains with the store opening but those issues are supposed to be worked out for the next batch of preorders.

If I use PayPal to order, I don't have to bother signing up for the TT store? Because I don't feel comfortable having two accounts just to get TT titles.

Not sure I understand exactly what you're asking but you still need a TT site account (just like SAE) and during checkout you can choose to pay by PayPal where it directs you to the PayPal site to complete the transaction.

For older releases, though, it'd probably be better to go with SAE. Most of the stock for older titles is with them. The TT site might be better for newer releases.

All good info.

According to TT this has been fixed for future preorders and what we experienced was a part of the growing pains of working out all of the bugs from the new site/Cinram partnership.

Per TT this was also in error and has been fixed for the next round out preorders.

Very true, if SAE has all remaining stock on an older release then the only option is to order from SAE or TCM.

Does that actually work for anybody particularly on this forum -- I realize for those who bought a ton of stuff on Prime Day the force might work on them, but for this crowd who tends to be a bit more tech conscious and dare I say just a bit paranoid about privacy/security do you think it helps more than it hurts? What if the Public Library sent you a letter or email telling you "We saw you looking at XXXXXX Book and really wish you had decided to check it out, From your history we really think you might like it. Can we bring it to your house tonight!"
I noticed that the reminders are a bit aggressive too. The email reminder appears to be driven by having items in the cart and visiting the site. If I visit the site again, even if I don't add anything new to my existing cart, a new email reminder will be sent.

An email to the support email address might be just the trick. I've noticed they've been very responsive and open to feedback.

The Mechanic is no longer available from the Twilight Time web site so it appears SAE has all remaining copies for that title.

Has anyone seen The Little House before? Is it any good? I wonder if the color will be messed up like on their copy of Twilight Samurai?

Twilight announced on their facebook account that the Charles Bronson film "Ten to Midnight" will have an audio commentary.

But they say not spoken by any actors of the movie. So I guess a commentary by a film historian.

They also say that they are going to release at least four!!!! Bronson movies

Probably Nick Redman and Julie Kirgo like most of them.

I would prefer an audio commentary by actors: Andrew Stevens, Gene Davis(played the sadistic killer) and Lisa Eilbacher though

Sounds like four Twilight Time releases I don't have to worry about trying to get. Well, depending on who else is involved. I still need to get Kino's Breakheart Pass and Mr. Majestyk because they're written by Alistair MacLean and Elmore Leonard, respectively.

Nick and Julie give great commentary. Quite frankly, I preferred the Redman/Kirgo/Seydor commentary on The Train to Frankenheimer's.

I had heard that TT was going to re-release CHRISTINE. But it seems to be coming from Sony instead.

Here's the explanation provided by TT:

Interesting enough, that interview seems to have vanished from the OP.

They might but given that TT just re-released it's plausible that Sony may not have approached them just yet.

yeah, it's great to have more Bronson titles but I don't particularly want to pay $35 for them

hoping some of them last for their annual sale which I bought THE MECHANIC on. I paid the full price for Hard Times and will again for 10 to Midnight.

I'm guessing KINJITE, MESSENGER OF DEATH, MURPHY'S LAW, and THE EVIL THAT MEN DO for the titles (Cannon and Columbia releases...)
