I'm actually still on the fence about Night of the Generals, but it seems like the sort of film that I'll get into.
Night Of The Generals is certainly a well crafted film but I found it very talky and slowly paced . Mississippi Burning disturbing and often hard for me to watch but completely riveting throughout

I used to rent Mississippi Burning on VHS back in the day. I've been on a kick with older Gene Hackman movies (Prime Cut, Night Moves, etc.), and realized that I wanted to revisit this one. It's a disturbing, but wonderfully-crafted film.

I'm also going to add Count Yorga, Vampire to my order, since it's the season for 1970s vampire goodness.

There are a lot of neo-noir movies in the fold for me this time, with State of Grace, Devil in the Blue Dress, and Black Widow.

You should hold off ordering that many today though and wait for the next signed promo freebie

That's crossed my mind, and I might be kicking myself in the tail when I find out what the signed freebie is for the next round, but ordering them all saves postage and time.

(although vampires pre-order is mistakenly still listed for today, as well as a separate listing for the new date; today's listing needs to be deleted by OP)
Fixed now. It was only the text that needed removing. I thought I had already done that when I updated the new information. Thanks for pointing it out.

With all this vampire talk I might have to look into Count Yorga. I wasn't sure about getting Vampires but I just received Planet of the Vampires (watching now, pretty creepy) along with Grizzly and Shakma from SAE and am in a blood sucking movie mood.
If you had a choice of either Yorga or Vampires....which would you pick? I'm leaning towards Yorga because I'm more old school (Christopher Lee....can't wait for Count Dracula to be released).

If there is one of those to be "on the fence" about, it would be "Strange Invaders" for me. I have it on DVD...not TT upgrade worthy IMO. I'd take the superior "The Night of the Generals" for the win..!! But that's just me..

That would be a tough call, I think Yorga is the better film but anything John Carpenter is a Must Have. Also Sheryl Lee (Laura Palmer from Twin Peaks) si hotter than ever in Vampires.

Done! I just ordered...

State of Grace
Mississippi Burning
Night of the Generals
Scream and Scream Again
Devil in a Blue Dress
Black Widow
Strange Invaders
Count Yorga, Vampire

That left a mark, but I was prepared for it. With my luck, one of these will be a signed promo the next go 'round, but that's all right.

In November and December combined, there are only three Twilight Time titles that grab my interest, but I made it for it in advance.

Honestly, if you're buying that many titles why wouldn't you wait until next week to see what the signed promo is? Even if it's not one of these, it might be something else you're interested in.

Was about to order 2 of the new titles but I see Screen Archives are up to their old tricks again by trying to say they won't replace any lost items to UK customers unless we pay between $15 and $35 extra for a secured service.

This is unfair and is something they should be doing to customers who might have claimed for something before.
I've had loads of SAE orders and none have ever been lost.
Besides , I'll be ordering with a credit card so replacing or refunding lost or stolen items really is something they don't have a choice over.

They stopped this silly idea for a while - it certainly didn't appear with my last order so it's disappointing to see it back.
Why not just block people with addresses where claims have been made before?

Agreed. That's what I plan to do, but per usual, different strokes for different folks.

The benefits of a single shipment lured me in. Chances are that the signed promo will either be a disc that I already own or a disc that does not interest me.

I could be wrong, though.

If they do sell that quick I expect another reissue like Fright Night and Christine.

Had to limit myself to just Scream and Scream Again for the moment until I see how my wallet is looking after this weekend. Then I might go back for Yorga
