Drat, I guess it'll have to wait until next weekend. I was certainly a little excited for a little weekend action.

I'm hoping one of these movies will be announced:
Moby Dick
The Hound of the Baskervilles
The 3 Worlds of Gulliver

In reply to an individual's question on FB, they answered that announcements will come next Saturday.

In case it hasn't been mentioned A Man For All Seasons is back in stock on SAE's website for the promo discount price.

Of course this is a day after I broke down and ordered directly from TT's site to make sure I got one before it went OOP. To all those who my sacrifice benefited, you're welcome.

With that 10 extra dollars TT made from you I hope it secures the uncut version of One Million Years, B.C. from Fox

If it's any consolation, I did the same thing last week when pre-ordering Nineteen Eighty-Four. Still, a fantastic film worth the full price of admission.

I'm glad to buy When the Wind Blows on sale; seeing the film in full, I don't know if I could muster purchasing it at full price. It's not a film that can be casually seen more than once, but it's effectively heartbreaking and takes its good time moistening itself in dread.

Default Twilight Time's release of Born Free

The classic film Born Free has been announced as having its release date of December 8, today. Has this been delayed? It appears not available to purchase through Ebay.

Today is the estimated release date for the December titles. Plan accordingly, as long as they get stock will probably start shipping once they are rec'd.

Why do you buy TT blurays from ebay?
I assume they will be much more expensive!!

As I found out... and didn't buy into it. I could not find it on Amazon either. Will be buying Born Free directly through Twilight Time, as I probably should have in the first place.

or SAE.
They are sold there too.
I think it's the same price (with shipping included)
And currently they have a sale in many TT BLurays if you don't know already. ($10 off of some selected titles)

I was all set to do the same thing, but I actually forgot about it, so thanks for the reminder! I ordered A Man for All Seasons, Hombre (would love to see Warner/Paramount release Martin Ritt's Hud on Blu-ray), and House of Bamboo. The exchange rate for CAD is lousy, but these sales don't happen often and there are lots of TT titles I've yet to buy!

I can relate, I've been holding off, but I can't pass this sale by.

Yup, I'm another one. I'm having a hard time deciding where to draw the line. There are so many good titles in this sale.

EDIT: FWIW, I just finished placing my last order of the sale.

Birdman of Alcatraz
The Fabulous Baker Boys
House of Bamboo
Inherit the Wind
The Remains of the Day

Yes, i had a hard time choosing too. My limit was 3 titles and I had to choose out of 10 approx.

I got:
A Man for all Seasons (blind buy)
The Fabulous Baker Boys (almost a blind buy - I had seen it in my teens but I don't remember much except that I liked it)
At Close Range (well this is not essential to own but I got it mostly for the score (and the isolated score option) which features my favourite Madonna song in various instrumental versions and the fact that it has an 80s nostalgia that I love
