The Fabulous Baker Boys (almost a blind buy - I had seen it in my teens but I don't remember much except that I liked it)
At Close Range (well this is not essential to own but I got it mostly for the score (and the isolated score option) which features my favourite Madonna song in various instrumental versions and the fact that it has an 80s nostalgia that I love
I limited myself to 3, but somehow it turned into 6

RICHARD III
THE WORLD OF HENRY ORIENT
THE REMAINS OF THE DAY
BIRD OF ALCATRAZ
GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER

Has anyone ever successfully cancelled a Screen Archives order paid for with a debit or cc? There doesn't even seem to be an option to cancel - at least not that I could clearly see.

Yes! This is your lucky day.

La Bambola di Satana (1969) is being released by Twilight Time on February 9, with a pre-orders going live in late January. This film is described as an atmospheric Italian giallo with great-looking colors.

Well, no offence but I hope not!
There are a couple of studios whose main output is horror films, that seems this genre is over-represented on Bluray at the expense of other famous classics.
Bring more classic non-horror films please!

Not familiar with the film, but a release to buy for me. An unexpected bit of good news .

Just watched Birdman of Alcatraz. Did anyone else find this film incredibly boring and dry? I normally like Burt Lancaster but this film just seemed to pile on the cheese and sentimentality. The depiction of prison life must've been hard to take seriously even in the 60's. It was also way longer than it needed to be. Oh well.

This is one of the titles I had a hard time deciding on, but ordered it yesterday. I saw it many, many years ago (like 30 or 40), but don't remember much about it, other than maybe the same thoughts you mention above. I looked at several reviews as my guide, which were for the most part positive, so I'm giving it another shot.

Same here, it's been years since I've seen this, but I remember liking it, so I thought I would give it a shot as well.

Thats because horror outsells non horror classic films -and it will never be over-represented. Horror and sci fi are the real backbone. Thats where the money is
I hope TT will have more horror, I know they have two titles . But, I do like a mix, I love my Noirs and classics.
Scream Factory is a horror label so obviously they need as many titles as they can get but TT has deals with studios that Scream does not, therefore let TT release a few. Warner Brothers has a lot of famous classics and a lot of horror titles and their output has been meh overall. No Mildred Pierce or Gun Crazy (in the USA) or the Big Sleep, uh hello !?!?

Always loved the film, and Lancaster's performance. I have no issue with the movie at all.
