Can't beat the UHD for this one if you ask me, though it is nice that they bothered to make the included regular BD as good as it is. Wish it was the norm rather than an exception.

Not cool for BD customers only, who are now forced to buy the UHD if they want to own the remastered BD

Let me make one thing very clear: There is an inestimable amount of WB catalog BDs on the open-market, in budget buy bins and displays for $10 or less per offering. Walmart, 7-11, grocery stores, and other places have tons of them. There would be no gain for WB to put out a remastered BD without the UHD-BD in the same package with all that unsold inventory floating around.

I guess it depends on the movie. In any case, if bundling remasters with 4K releases is what it takes to get a better or proper version of a movie on BD, so be it.

I don't think you understand. He's saying that the retail channels are already full of stock of the older BD versions of these movies. So, it isn't WB that needs to realize people want remastered BDs; it's the stores that have already bought in the older BDs. They're not going to order remastered BD of movies they already have in stock. However, they will order UHDs because those are a different product/format. So, if those UHDs include remastered BDs, the remastered BDs have found an avenue into the stores. Otherwise, they'd be out of luck.

It depends on how underage they are. The opening scene will definitely be too heavy for kids under 12 I would say. Some of the violence and language later on is also pretty vicious. Proceed with caution.
