Who do you like to see come in at Palace as the next manager Geoff.
Tob, if someone said you can have the F.A cup again for the next two years or qualify for 4th next two years, which would you take?

(I know you don't want Wenger but this is just one of those silly what if questions?)

Thsnks Tob.

Bloody boring without any footy isn't it? Only 9 weeks for the championship.

I think next week Tob. I want Gary Monk but we probably will get that Aberdeen guy.

No surprises with the Champuons League Final. Ronaldo' scoring in three finals is some feat.

Juve started so well but I said to my Dad that they've got to make that early pressure tell otherwise Real will hit them with a sucker punch and that's exactly what they did. The equaliser was a special goal but it counted for nothing as Juve just couldn't get going in the second half, and although the second Real goal was jammy as **** it can't be said that they didn't deserve the win in the end. I'd give real money if someone would shoot Sergio Ramos though, he's such a breathtakingly cynical footballer - and that's saying something, coming from the Continent as he does where cheating is a way of life - that it makes me sick.

tob: I'd love to see Garry Monk get a crack at Palace because he's not someone who'll get too many ideas above his station about his place in the food chain. IMO Pulis and Allardyce both left as they did because they weren't going to get any more massive wads of cash to spend, whereas Monk will have his ideas about how to take Palace forward but he won't throw his toys out of the pram because he's not a big time charlie. Sure, he left Leeds pretty quickly but the behind-the-scenes turmoil there is still ongoing and he knew that he'd probably get bounced by the owners if a bigger name became available.

You leave Monk alone! I want him here! You have had allardyce now bugger off!

Yeah, agree about Ramos. Maybe not the shooting bit though!

R.I.P., he was a stalwart at Newcastle before he buggered off to China. Scored a few cracking goals as well.

Well, the Eng vs Sco qualifier certainly came alive in the last few minutes. They were good free kicks but Joe Hart's looking a bit creaky these days. I wouldn't have begrudged Scotland the win because England were crap, but I still shouted like a loon when Kane scored that equaliser.

It was typical England conceding from almost identical free kicks. Weakest England team of my lifetime this.

Yeah, they're terrible and it wouldn't make a difference if you brought Alf Ramsey back from the dead to manage them and held the world cup in England, we're not winning another major tournament for decades. As soon as these guys pull on an England shirt they become so cluelessly inept it'd be funny if it wasn't so painful to watch.

Speaking of painful, we have been linked with Lambert for our new manager. Where is the rope?

Can't remember now from the Sunday before last, but I think Arsenal won the WSL Spring series Tob.

The women's Euro 2017 championships, will it be on the BBC's red button interactive service?

By the way, Steedeel, congratulations on becoming a Blu-ray baron. Am thinking of that classic Simpsons episode where Homer is the Beer Baron.
