Yeah I wish we had that ref for our game against Arsenal as well, as we'd be in an even better position! Tremendous victory for us earlier. I'm scared though still, could you imagine if Spurs win the league on goal difference?

Gutted about that. Maybe the game we remember relegating us. Playing against 10 men and 30 ******* seconds to go. Now Newcastle can overtake us next week because we ain't playing. Crucial today. Devastated.

Thrilling end to end first half, but Watford look the more dangerous. They are linking together better, defending better and making the better chances. We're asking questions, but not enough of the right ones. A bit of a shock really, given that winning this may seal off the chance of Spurs winning, and definitely shut out the chance for Arsenal to win the League, yet there really wasn't much about us other for short spurts. Based on this first half performance, if we win this we wont deserve it.

Okazaki needs to come off for the second half, I don't rate him. He's like a lesser Jamie Vardy. At least he occasionally gets legitimate worldies, Okazaki's goals have been accidents or luck, I don't think he's netted a single one on purpose yet. A lack of a truly prolific striker might be our greatest threat in this final stretch. We're getting goals, but the irony is they are mostly coming from our midfield. It's also concerning now that most teams have us worked out as we pretty much approach every game the same way. It's too late to really try risking new things, so we have to be tighter, we have to be more precise and refined. Perfect our existing game in the face of every challenge. Make every touch count. I hope that is what Ranieri tells them in the dressing room.

Well, there was far more resting on today. Palace are just about safe even without that point against us. I catch your drift though

I have just about got over it now, heartbreaking stuff.

Great result for Leicester. I will be shouting for them even more than normal next Monday. The game against Newcastle will have massive bearings on us.

Heh. Apparently the last time Liverpool won away at Palace in the League was in 1997 (I was there, and some young fella called Michael Owen scored) so given the 19 year gap Liverpool are due one about now. Absolutely nailed on win for the Scousers, I'm not even gonna bother watching it.

Also, refs seem to have a love affair with Liverpool IMO. How many penalties have they been awarded over the last ten years? Some of them never penalties! More then any other club would be my guess.
