With the league potentially out of reach now, you may as well break your whole team if you have to and win the FA Cup. At least you can take something.

Watford have a great chance on Sunday with the injuries we have at the back but the game has come at the wrong time for us because we have Barcelona away three days later and i know we are out of the Champions League but i still don't want to go their with this patch up team.

Newcastle sack Steve McClaren and Rafa Benitez to be the new manager.

Oh goody, they'll get that 'new manager' bounce before we're due to play them next. TBH I'd happily take 4 points from the games against Norwich and Newcastle next month, that should be enough not so much from a points POV but from maintaining the gap between Palace and them two.

Surprised that Benitez took the job he should have waited.

Exactly! Just before Sunderland's most important game in years also!

Got the job done, looked the better team on the night. It kinda lays bare why we've struggled so much in recent times though, there are so many corners and set pieces and balls into the box and so much trickery from Zaha and Bolasie...but with no end product, time after time. Penalty was a bit soft but I can't complain. FA Cup semi then.

Don’t ask me for I don’t know but as far as I’m concerned, Steed is a good man in my eyes.

Hang in there Steed, for if you can weather Sunderland’s woes throughout this season, you can sure as hell ride out a suspension upside down singing or whistling your favorite tune.

Yep, he definitely had a bit of a nibble. What is it with these South American fellas, are they that much in need of a good meal?

Well first just like to say congratulations to Watford but just like to say how sick and tired i am of the same mistakes again and again which events like this happen.
We have done this so often now its part of our make up as a club.
I want change but neither Arsenal football club or Arsene Wenger will make that big decision so as long as Wenger is there then these problems will continue so next we go to the Nou Camp for Barcelona to finish us off then away to Everton on Saturday this manager and players should be ashamed of this rubbish this season and every season.

Oh no, Spurs have Villa today which will close the gap between us and then we are the first to face Newcastle with new managers syndrome and if that wasn't bad enough, they have a manager of the caliber of Benitez. You could argue that Spurs have the easier run of games now, and have only one Cup left to go out of, so it really could go down to the last day of the season.

Just make sure you keep doing what you're doing, one game at a time.

Well done Watford, though Arsenal have hit a horrid patch of form so this was the perfect time to jump them. Stunning goal from Guedioura, he's an ex-Palace lad so if we get Watford in the semi (a repeat of the playoff final) he'll probably score another stunner to finish us off.

I think West Ham will beat Utd in the replay, I'm praying the gods smile on us and give us Watford while it's Everton vs West Ham in the other.

Just chokejob after chokejob for this Arsenal team. Blown incredible chances at both the FA Cup and much more importantly the league. There's zero chance teams like Chelsea and City don't rebound the next season or two at the very most and we all know this Arsenal can't dance with these big boys so our chance has officially been blown. I'm a big Wenger loyalist but it does feel like his stubborn ways will never win us any meaningful titles when clearly Arsenal has the financial power to compete with anyone.

Nothing will change under him and its time for him to leave.
