Two questions: where the hell do you keep your collection? And how much money has it cost you? I can't give you a score... you've got a lot of awesome titles, but it is just too over the top.

An insane criterion collection, that alone gives you 7/10 for me for your emphasis on having top notch quality, plus the fact that the rest of your collection seems to have a lot of the same titles as me I i can tell you have good taste. 9/10 for quality and style

Great large collection! For your horror section alone, a 10/10!!

I know I've rated you before but I don't remember what I gave you nor am I gonna research it. Nevertheless......
Another massive Criterion collection. Question? Do you truly like every title (I'm sure you like/love some of them) you have or is more about being a completist to own every title produced? Honest question.
I like some Criterion titles as I own a good number of them but no way could I watch nor enjoy every one of the titles you own. For just having this many titles, that's a 10/10. The other titles, we have similar tastes. Sooooo.......
Overall for Compatibility sake.......8.9/10
Nice job man

Fair question...honestly, I do it for 2 reasons.

1. The obvious: I consider myself a completionist, but I grapple with the fact that I'm running out of space and they (Criterion) aren't slowing down any.

2. BUT, and it is a very big but (not in that sense)...I do enjoy these very much, and I can honestly say that I have not yet been let down by any that I have viewed. And I have watched almost half of what I own, some two and three times. I just recently quit my 2nd job because my wife is doing well financially and let's face it, having "dad" home with the kids every night as opposed to 2 nights a week is a huge plus. So, this gives me much more time to continue watching those I haven't had a chance to watch yet.

So, I hope that answers your question

As far as your collection goes...damn...you have over 2000 films! So, in all fairness, why do you collect so many movies when I can't even think of watching all my Criterions? How do you watch all of your movies with a collection of that magnitude?

I do love your categories, and I think I've rated yours before as well. For someone who invests that much time and money in a collection, I am not giving less than a 10.

Great job!

If only for your Criterion section, the collection gets 10/10! By the way, I also really like the job that Criterion does in curating films and buy them accordingly.

Thanx for the reply.
Yeah, it's huge to say the least. Ive been collecting and watching Blus since it's inception. Many years my friend to watch all of them. I can honestly say I've seen every title minus a handful because I keep going back to something else. For me and with my memory, watching something a second time is kind of
like watching it for the first time in many cases. I pretty much watch a movie every night as my wife works overnight so guess what? Movie time until bed.
I love movies and this hobby, but I can say, it's close to enough is enough.
Take care!

Sorry as you were skipped when I was posting. I've browsed your collection many times and it truly is a great collection like so many of us that have collections over 1000. People think we just buy to buy. I say those people don't know what they're talking about.
Even though we differ in so many areas of taste, it's still a fine and stellar collection.
9/10 only because there's so many films I personally don't care for. But it's still great.

Placeholder! Be right back. . . .

Eh, I would probably kick all of Marion Morrison's flicks to the curb (save for probably McQ - the car chase in Seattle is pretty cool), but otherwise I feel that we are brothers from another mother. 10/10!

I love this collection. I love this collection, oh so very much. Lots of quirky, off-beat titles with cool category names. I see you're a man who loves his schlock, and exploitation. A fan of the outskirts of cinema, and I couldn't adore that moreso. Good job, fellow film freak. Your collection is aces, keep fightin' the good fight.

My rating:

Oh sure, lets take a look at Rob's stuff. Back in a sec. . . .

Right out of the gate, first thing in the collection is 1990: Bronx Warriors. I need to dig no further, as I know what sort of man you are. We are truly brothers! Death Machines and The Man From Hong Kong only confirms this. Oh, look Blackula - I can dig it!

I give you 20 out of 10. Very little here I would not enjoy.
