Very good collection of cinema from around the world along with American cinema spread out over eight decades. An 8.5 out of 10!

Wow - a really classy collection, with a great mixture of classic cinema and more populist, popcorn entertainment.

Love the way your collection is laid out by country and by decade for the US content.

Really, really nice stuff. 10/10.

Not the worst collection. You do have a few really great titles in there.

I give it six desk's out of ten.

Nice eclectic collection. I wouldn't watch everything in your collection, but there's plenty to enjoy. 8

Really nice expansive collection. There's a lot of stuff I don't recognize, but what I do is solid, and it's clearly covering a lot of defferent genres and eras. The only gap is in animation. You've got some good comic book based stuff, but there's a lot of really good stuff missing. I also got a good chuckle out of the "Trek Wars" and "True story...well kinda" categories. Overall a solid 9/10.

A few animated movies I highly recommend:
Kung Fu Panda
Inside Out
The Iron Giant
Grave of the Fireflies
Akira

Wow, lots of 3D stuff in your collection! And lots of TV on Blu-ray, too. If it were mine, I would build up the 4K and horror collections more, but I bet this is a collection you've spent a lot of time curating to get the stuff you really wanted (especially the 3D titles!).

Thanks, 3d means a lot to me. My 3d collection is still a drop in the bucket compared to what's out there, but I do like to think my collection is the cream of the crop. Horror is a genre I've been looking into expanding. I prefer a more creepy and psychological horror. I don't mind violence and gore, I just don't think that should be the focus of the film. I liked Alien, and I've heard a lot of good things about the 80's The Thing. Do you have a couple of other recommendations along those lines? Also, I see you're a big Dr. Who fan. Is there a good jumping on point for that series? I remember a lot of buzz about it around the mid 2000's, but never got around to seeing anything. I've been out of work for a couple of years so I haven't bought anything for a while, but I'm working on that and should be back soon. Hopefully I can get back to collecting.

Good collection by the way. Not as encyclopedic as some on here, but more to my personal taste. More Horror than I'd ever have, but everyone has their personal favorites. I'd say a 9/10.

8/10 There's a lot of fun in this collection. I can clearly see your interest and style. Your 3D collection is super impressive and I really enjoyed the "episodic" selections. Well done. It's not my personal taste but obviously its your collection and it's well curated and you do you!

Yes, you've got tons of great 3D stuff! As for horror, there are SO many types, subgenres, etc. If you're looking for some more psychological, slow-burn options, definitely look at Hereditary and Midsommar. I'm a big fan of found footage, so the Paranormal Activity series (you can currently get all six films for under $15!) is one I always recommend for that (the fourth and sixth films are the weakest, but the rest are all very solid). So many good horror options!

As for Doctor Who, that's a loaded question!! Honestly, the first series from the revived era (2005) is a really good place to start as it was designed to reintroduce the show to people who had never watched. Also, Series 5, which started in 2010 and marked another new Doctor (the Eleventh), is also a great place to start as it was a bit of a soft reboot with a new executive producer/head writer. Objectively, those are probably the most accessible places to jump on. Subjectively, I've been watching the show for the better part of 35 years and I love it all, so it's hard to choose.

I love collections like this that are a healthy mix of bonafide "classics" as well as personal favorites that can't objectively be called "good", but that you enjoy anyways. If you can't have some fun, then why bother? Some of my favorite movies are absolute ass.

Small, but great collection. Your criterion and twilight time choices are excellent and those steelbooks are amazing.

Impressive selection of movies showing good taste across the board, but it also displays a clear focus on big names and classics, where I personally prefer more unique titles.
High consistency makes it a very nice collection regardless, great job !
