Just telling it like it is man. Im not saying you should buy your movies based on reviews, you guys read that part totally out of context. I was just saying in addition to them being some really poor movies (fact), they are also among some of the most poorly reviewed movies of all time.

Because if I said "In my opinion those movies are terrible" you would say well thats your opinion, and in my opinion they are great. So I was just using the fact that they are poorly received as more ammo to my argument.

I do not in any way base my purchases on reviews. First of all I need to really like the movie, and it must have a ton of replay value. Second they must offer me some kind of collectible packaging. Whether it be a digibook, a steelbook, or come in some kind of special case with a booklet. This is because thats all the studios can offer me, considering I can get the exact same quality online for free. So incentive for me not to pirate a movie in full HD, is to give me collectible packaging of a film I love.

First, it's not fact they are poor movies, movies are entertaining to some and not to others. It's completely opinion based, not fact based at all. It makes you sound arrogant talking that way.

Second, that explains a lot.....I would never download a movie. Ever. End of story. I'd rather give my money to the studios than download a movie. I'm surprised you'd openly talk about pirating on a blu-ray website to be honest

I agree with you pirating is awful and people that talk about doing it should be banned. As for the coversation you guys had about having lots of medicore movies you can look at my collection and see i am the same way. I like to have great movies along with ones i can just chill out to. Hell i love romcoms and i bet choch thinks he is above them and other fun movies like The Day After Tomorrow. I think i have rated you before but you get a 10

AOD, it's not mediocre if you enjoy it Honestly, people so closed minded about movies like that are ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with having fun, exciting movies that aren't great. I bet most of us want to have movies we could watch any day of the week on top of great titles. We love movies, we're not snobby about it

He told me I have hundreds of awful movies, which is just ridiculous Maybe to him, but I like them all I also agree people talking about pirating should be banned, because it's not right at all. It makes me mad when I hear people talk about pirating

thanks. haven't watched soldiers yet but took a peek. looks pretty nice. at first i was excited about picking it up, but when i started watching just didn't get into it. guess i wasn't in the rite mood. kind of like my memory of the film more than the film itself maybe. ill try again on thanksgiving.

impressive collection yourself 10/10

Tuck301:
A good start to a growing collection. You own a lot of the basics in your given genres, but have not really strayed too far away from blockbuster titles...save for a few animated DC titles, and maybe I'll even throw in Zodiac and Baraka in that catagory. I also find it strange that you have no Disney animated titles in your collection, even though you have other childrens movies like G-Force. Your collection did remind me that I have to buy Cliffhanger at some point, even though I never think of it when I go to the store. I give your collection a 6 out of 10. I'd raise it to a seven if you got the Bourne Trilogy that is on your wishlist

Gener,
You certainly get a 10/10 for quantity and creating a "library.".
But for such a large amount of blu-rays, no one can get a sense of what movies you really like since you buy everything (there's no way you are ever gonna watch Zombie Strippers again ), so overall you get a:
9/10

Greekak,
Just the opposite of Tuck, your smaller collection represents your taste which is what I like to look for when grading collections. Your selectivity and great choices get my "respek":
10 out of 10 stars!
