That was a bit harsh and I disagree with your rating.
I'd give it an 8.5 to 9.5.

There was absolutely nothing harsh about his comments. Nothing a couple hundred other people have'nt said on this site before. Plus it's his opinion.

To your collection. I think overall very solid. I Like a lot of your titles. You have very few sci-fi's and really no classics.
Still will give it an 8 anyhow!

Don't really care for 3D at all. I'd add more classics and maybe some imports too. Quite a few films I wouldn't purchase but overall a solid collection with fine titles. 7/10.

Funny.............you don't care for 3D and I'm not a fan of imports. Just not my thing. To each his own which is what it's all about anyway. Next poster please rate KrugerIndustrial.

An OK collection I’ve seen most of the movies in your collection and IMHO most of them don’t have any replay value also there are very few comedies (most don’t even count) and very few animation also I’m not going to look through your wishlist since there so many and you don’t own them yet so overall…6/10

There are not that many comedies worth buying these days and especially region free/b-releases. I have almost all of Pixars titles and I don't really care for Disney's stuff except for those classics that are on my wishlist.

Lastly, I purchase a film mainly because I like it and if it offers an upgrade from the previous release. And I feel most of my films indeed have replay value though not if you watch them every month. I'm not into modern Hollywood crap, steelbooks or other similar nonsense so I understand why my collection might get lower ratings from some users. But I appreciate your opinion and thanks for the rating.

I'll offer a second opinion, as I was going to rate your collection and then got busy with something else. 9/10 - Very nice collection, a great mix of Classics and good contemporary films. Did you make those categories your self (Foreign Language, Music, TV, etc.)? I was thinking of sorting my collection that way, but awfully time consuming. And kudos for scoring a copy of the UK SC Collection of Mulholland Drive, very hard to get. I gave up after a month and got the Italian version from eBay. And I agree 100% on comedies, I love comedy but what they pass off as comedy these days is just dumb and dumber. Rented & hated Hangover, it wasn't funny, just stupid.

No problem about the rating that’s what this thread is all about. I don’t rate a collection solely on the fact that a collection has any steelbooks or special editions or not but on how entertaining the collection is (to me of course) it makes me laugh when other members rate someone’s collection high just because there collection contains nothing but foreign films or classical titles. But in reality most of those films after one viewing feel like work to sit though again for me at least but I also consider that people have their own taste.
