It is, but I imagine there's tough competition for curved screens, I would think it would be of more interest for those who use a PC for gaming and other Apps (where the curve can be off putting).

We can't be too far off variable aspect ratio displays ... stretchable OLED?

Interesting. Personally would be so much more interested in scope aspect ratio OLED with the QD tech for PC use, gaming, and HDR grading. And I think I'll be waiting many years for that kind of "end game" monitor. Always nice to see innovation in these spaces whether I would or not be into each variation.

Are they still making curved TVs because they've never caught on.

Launched in 2008 and withered away into tech obscurity after a few years. They did look very cool but they never really took off.

I'm not saying they would even catch on permanently. There only needs to be one wave of them that serves those of us who would want a 5-10 year monitor.

I was able to demo the G2 recently. The amount of controls LG offers is way better than the Sony. I would say the G2 is the best WOLED I have ever seen.

The picture was noticeably brighter right off the bat. I The near blacks are better than my Sony 77A80J which is far behind my Panasonic 65GZ1000 OLED in this aspect.

If I was to buy a 77 now, I would buy the G2 but for now I am stuck with the 77A80J.

I just don’t get the Bloom on the X95K.

The 2020 X900H with its 32 dimming zones never exhibited as much Bloom than Sony’s first Mini-LED. I’d remember that if that was the case.

Hopefully they can get better control of their backlight tech in the coming years.

I think the main reason for that is probably as simple as the X95K getting much brighter than the X900H.

Id agree if the Samsung QN90B (Which is brighter) exhibited similar bloom.
