IMDb says this has a 4k DI. And the latest American Cinematographer says it had both a 2k and 4k workflow for the DI. Here's the relevant section:

The final grade was performed at FotoKem in Burbank. Förderer worked with Martin as well as colorist Walter Volpatto; the DI employed a 2K and 4K workflow, grading EXR files in Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve. "I worked with [Martin] to set the look for the 2D master and continued polishing with Walter Volpatto," Förderer says. "We then did the 3D version and Dolby Vision HDR.

I'm thinking that this may be saying that the Dolby Vision version got its own separate real 4k version, while everyone else gets the 2k. Or maybe they are saying the fx were in 2k, which was always assumed since it is a 3D movie with a ton of fx.

Sorry Opips, Bill Hunt says he confirmed that Into Darkness had a 2k DI:

Paramount’s 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release includes the film in a variable aspect ratio format that mirrors the IMAX theatrical presentation, shifting from 2.39:1 to 1.78:1 during the specific IMAX-filmed sequences. Star Trek Into Darkness was shot largely on photochemical film using Panavision Panaflex Millennium XL2 (35mm anamorphic) and IMAX MSM 9802 (large format 65mm) cameras. I’ve now confirmed with the studio that the film was finished as a 2K DI, which was up-sampled to 4K and given an HDR color timing pass for this Ultra HD release. The surprise is this: The IMAX footage amounts to about 40% of the film and it looks way better than native 2K up-sampled.

Browsing the US Amazon search result pages, looking for more discs, I am getting India, Timescapes, USA - A West Coast Journe in the results. Not certain if these are actual final 4K/UHD pages or just different listing for the disc/USB combos. They appear to be be just a disk and have the 4K UHD art-work and prices more in line with a disc-only release, but there is no pre-order button, just an option to buy new/used, which makes me dubious/curious whether they are the UHD discs, or not.

These are being released in the uk on 2nd August.
