Except his page about BvS is wrong. The 35mm was scanned at 2k and upscaled to 4k for the final master. The 65mm stuff was scanned at 4k. So roughly 80% of the 3 hour movie is a 2k upscale. |

But 20% isn't. I don't care if 5 minutes of the film was scanned at 4K it would still be on the list.

I completely understand what your saying. But anyone else expecting 3 hours of true 4k will be disappointed, and I've seen alot of people confused and disappointed by the picture. It is their opinion and they have the right to voice their displeasure. But realorfakes entry is misleading because he says the entire movie was scanned at 4k, and we know it wasnt. |

So is there a ranked list based on a poll or something with the top 10 best 4k movies in terms of visual greatness/eye candy? |

Hi guys, new here and in the 4k game, I have been watching thread since the beginning though. I got the 65E6 recently which is about 8/9 ft from my seating position. I have a few of the 4ks which are considered decent/good material ( The Revenant, X Men Apocalypse, B Vs S etc) and after watching some shows on netflix/amazon prime, it seems being able to perceive changes in resolution varies dramatically from content to content.
I can see an up in resolution, but its not a lot in most cases, I opened up blacklist on Netflix which is in 4k (no hdr/vision) and the increase in resolution was amazing, as if I was watching a different show altogether vs most of the 4k movies I have seen on the tv so far. Has anyone see the blacklist in 4k, is there any movie which gives the same perception of resolution increase to go from HD to UHD? |
