The "what region code is it?" thread

I have a question not regarding Warner!

I looked at War (Blu-ray) at dvdempire.com and they list it as "Region All". The cover art says nothing about region like their most recent releases. Does anyknow know if this one is actually All Region?

They list delta farce as "Region All" as well, but it won't play on region B players according to www.allaboutbluray.co.uk. Who is right? Are lionsgates movies region all?

Perhaps anyone with connections at Lionsgate can ask them to put region logos on the cover art in the future

Not Warner but the first 50% of it


If you look at my signatureyou will see that http://bluray.liesinc.net/ have listed it as region free. It has not been wrong so far and it list this site as its source:

Yes, you can play all Warner and Paramount titles on any Blu-ray player. You can also play all other titles listed as region free on the link in my signature as well as all region B titles.

Hey guys. I just need some confirmation whether or not 3:10 to Yuma is going to be region free. Amazon has it as region 1 only and http://bluray.liesinc.net/ has it as all regions. Just want to be sure. Thank.

okay I checked the site (http://bluray.liesinc.net/) and it seems that weeds seasons 1 & 2 + the masters of horror discs are all region free but I don't know how reliable that site is and I'd feel better if someone here who has tried either can confirm that

its a fox release they are pretty much all region coded so your out of luck sorry

As stated many times before, Amazon is not a reliable source for the region code information. It gets it wrong most of the time actually.

I think Omen is the movie that is almost region free. If you have a PS3 you can bypass the region locking by pressing Start-button on the controll and choose one of the menu options. This will bring you to the menu and you can then select to play the movie.

For the most reliable site for region code information, take a look at this site. It also post the source from which the information came in the first time.
