Does it have the alternative and (MUCH) better ending? Can it be viewed via seamless branching?

Not an insider but I know about marketing. WB will have a massive ad campaign when Legend is released in Europe at the end of next month they do not want people buying it from the US a month earlier it can really mess things up when it comes to figures. The film business revolves unfortunately around figures. At this moment in time Blu Ray is still a small market but as it grows and grows you will see all major films having region coding they have to its the only way you can properly manage big releases. All WB DVDs are region coded and I'm afraid to say one day so will Blu

I have no idea. I'm a vet, not a psychiatrist. Just pointing out an observation though, that's all.

there is not even hint anywhere that they will start to add region code....
if they have that massive ad campaign in Europe, they could add region code already on I AM LEGEND....., but as you can see it's region free....

it's not like with NEW LINE wich is trying to protect their partners....

Marek

Like I said Blu is still small in the market place we might not see region locking by WB till then end of the year. Im not an insider so dont have any dates but unless Blu stays small fry we will have region coding from all the big players its not an if but a when question

Default Region free question

Hey buddies!

I just have a question:

If I buy a region free blu-ray disc from Europe I will have any problem playing it?

As I knowed if a buy a DVD region free from Europe I can not playing it because here we use NTSC system and in Europe the system is PAL.

This apply for blu-ray discs too?

Please let me know, because I want to buy "The Island" and "Robbie Williams Live from the Albert" and I only can buy it from there.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Regards.

Some people can't see past it being a warners release, they see anything as WB as crap because they dabbled with HD-DVD. Dispite the fact they have done some of the best transfers i've seen.

As long as they are Region Free, you can play them on any BD player worldwide.

Both of those are, so you should be good to go. You can check here to see whether any import you are interested in has a region lock on it or not:
