I can switch the region of the drive to C, which means I will be triple region, but Region C does not have significant release. So, I stick with B.
The games on PS3 are region free so they will play in both your PS3:s (if they do not explicit demand NTSC like DefIcon...). How do you change the region code on the drive? I would not change it to C because no region C-coded titles exists and I doubt it ever will...

Hehe.... I am still playing PS2 games on my Japanese PS3.
Change the region code? You will need a program like cyberlink or WinDVD to do that for you. It can't be done from Windows (Windows can only change the region code for DVD). Just like what you did to DVD, you need to click the region you wish to switch to. Beware, you can only change it 5 times (4 times after selecting your first region code)

OK, the PS2 games are still region coded. The changing is for DVD:s on PC:s. Have done it several times and even updated the firmeware to get RC0. The PS3 does not have Cyderlink or WinDVD.

yes, that is what I am saying. You can't change the region code on PS3. The only thing that I can make to region C is my drive (but no, I lived in UK). Maybe just like DVD, they will have some kind of ARMAX cheat which includes the ability to play other region discs.

It is region free. Amazon.com does not always have the correct region code. Warner does only release region free titles.

It is unfortunately region coded as I thought. Read my rough guide lines for region coding:

any ideas on unreleased Ratatouille? I plan to import if it's region free (although I am multi-region, I use my region B laptop as main BD player)

Read the post made by me directly above yours. I think it's region coded because it's a day-and-date but nobody will really know until it has been shipped.

Please read post 28 and post 30 in this thread... Your post has number 33.

Can also inform that UK Sunshine is region coded to Region B and does not play in other players than region B-players.

if you got it, can you confirm if it's working on region-B? Like bridge to terabithia (American region A - day and date with DVD) works on my UK PS3
