I've ordered from Amazon.UK before. Works great if you already have an Amazon account, just make sure they say region free in the description.

^ Don't listen to this person on what he/she said in the latter part. That is untrue. Look at the stickies in this forum and you will find what you need.

HI! I live in France and Almost Famous is already released on BD, the disc is region free but PQ is very poor and has only "Bootleg cut" ( There's no regular edition of the movie !!!). For me this edition is not worth 50 $.( In few month they're probably release another " collector's edition".

There's a 20 page stickied thread in this very section that deals with that very question.

As long as it's your region or region free, the PS3 will play it.

This site is also helpful:

I see that I Am Legend is listed on Amazon.com as a region A title but I have read that all Warner Bros. titles are region free. Would this play on a region B player as I would like to import this title to the UK.

Thanks

Sorry if this has already been answerd

Why so many titles that are region free or region A/1 have not Brasilian-Portuguese subtitles/audio? Region A/1 includes south america, what includes Brazil.

yeah, a lot of them have and a lot donīt. As much as I know, there isnt any distributor in Brazil yet for BD movies. And as the americas have the same region code now i thought it supposed would have all the audios/subtitles in any disc of the region.

Thanks anyway!

Default National Treasure 1&2

Hello!

Been trying to find out info about national treasure movies, are they region free or not? All the sources strongly suggest that it's only region A, and since Im looking to get it from amazon 39.90$ = 25.25€ which is great price for us eurolanders, It would be nice to find out.

It seems that Disney/miramax/Buena vista/ releases are about 60-70% region coded, atleast judgin from http://bluray.liesinc.net/ <--- good place to do region
research.

thx in advance

We do not yet know for certain if the movies will be region coded. In the past many of Disney's new releases have been region coded while catalogue titles have been region free. For example when Ratatouille & Cars were released simultaneously Ratatouille, the new release, was region coded, while the catalogue title, Cars, was region free.
