Can happy tell you that Prison break seems to be region free :-) and anden4220 so is Shine a light ;-). Also Starship Troopers and other movies like the jack Ryan movies is also Region free :-)

Anyone have any info on Vivendi Universal? They are starting to release Blu Rays. I can't find any info on them.

once again,

so far all WARNER, PARAMOUNT and UNIVERSAL titles are region FREE
FOX/MGM are region coded (only Stargate Con. and PB3 are region free)
some of new SONY and most of new DISNEY titles are region coded
most of LIONSGATE and NEW LINE (free with sqare button on ps3) are region coded...

I posted general info for several post about region coding of warner, paramount, etc..

Anyone on this site know the best site to find out if the U.S. version is region free or what region(s) it is? I know Amazon probably isn't the best and I was looking for a better site under the radar.

Walk the Line (Netherlands) plays on my region A BD30. It says Region A,B,C on the back so I believe that that is correct and the release is region free.

i dont mind New Line going region free because of Warner but however ill be damned if they start treating the blu-rays "The Warner Way." i dont want New Line to go from DTS HD-Master audio to dolby digital

The back has a Region A symbol but I waiting for someone to test it.
