Hello,

Great News : Run Fatboy Run (New Line) is not region coded (like Sex & the city) :

Apparently, New Line follows the Warner's rule : region free blu-ray !

(Haven't got a region B machine to confirm it

but) there's no region stated on the back cover, it's a catalog title, and it's Warner, so I would think it's region free

A day-and-date release from FOX(yes that's right) is region free according to movietyme.

I hope this is a new trend boy FOX.

Yes, it's a great news, i hope too Fox will continue like that, but wait & see ^^

Stargate: Continuum was also region free (MGM through Fox). Season 3 of Prison Break was also region free.

But then, Night Watch (a catalog title) was region coded, so I'm leaning towards it's an error on Fox's part that some were released region free.

Stargate Continuum was a MGM title released by Fox under contract. Prison Break, there isnt a clear answer there as season 1 is region locked. Maybe they are coming around to the region coding thing

But the titles you mention are TV shows. So I guess Deception is different. If I'm not mistaken, this is the first ever title by FOX that is region free, catalog or day-and-date.

Yes it is the 1st movie form FOX that is region free. Man really hope the trend will continue

This might be a total noob question but:

Im looking to buy 3 titles from the Amazon.co.uk website. All say "region free" but atleast 1 of them also says PAL.

Will they work on my NA setup? Thanks!

There have been quite a few Fox releases that are region free, just not North American releases.

Amazon Blu-ray region info is unreliable, you'll have to provide individual titles.

Id like to buy these movies before the amazon sale ends.
It seems Run Lola Run and Reign over Me have Region1 and Region-free versions available on Amazon.co.uk

Although of course the Region-1 discs are not part of the sale.
And like I said the Region-Free discs say "Format: PAL" in the description, so im a little worried.

"Almost famous" German BD is region free (i.e. plays on a US Player).
