Have been reliably informed by somebody who already has this Blu Ray disc that

HOME ALONE (Family Edition) is REGION FREE

(Blimey its a FOX release as well!)

I am a bit upset that Caspian is region A locked too. I do have multi region compatibility though and the UK price of the B is cheaper. So thats what I done. I suppose my collection will look weird, i'll probably get the B version of LWW and sell the A version.

I have the same information, different source (bluray-disc.de): It is region locked to Region B

What About X-Files Fight the Future. There is no release in the UK for this and Germany. So if this is locked. Then FOX is royaly screwing people overseas

This is so selfish and disgusting done by FOX US. Considering there is NO release date for Fight the Future in the UK or Germany. No Amazon web shop have it. FOX is royally scewing up the chances for Blu Ray to become mainstream by those damn Region coding. FOX disgsuts me

Death Proof and Planet terror is weinstein company. Weinstein company is also a company that don't want Blu ray to succeed. The Region coding is ruining the future for Blu. Cant the f**king idiotic studios who region code there blu's see that. it was only after the code was broken on DVD. DVD only took full speed ahead because of that. Those selfish companies that do region codes must stop doing them or Blu will never succeed over DVD

Someone in another thread said that PAL does not matter for Blu Ray because PAL/NTSC is a Standard Def issue, and that just because a Bluray says "PAL" doesn't mean it won't play on a US PS3.
