Is there a conformation anywhere about Sweeney Todd. It seems that MovieTyme and that liesinc don't have it. Want to know, but suspect Region A.

About X-Files Fight the Future are we sure its region coded. Becau i have seen the backcover on it and it doesn't show any region on it. And those that they code have an A on them.

So maybe it is region free?

But it is very weird that they don't state that on the backcover FOX always does that. So could that site just be guessing here?

They also state Hoton hears who as region A so does movietyme. But axelmusic says it is region free. So i really don't know what to believe anymore

Hello,

HDmoviesource test the blu-ray with a multiregion player, to see if it's region free or not.
So, the last Fox are locked unfortunately (but it's Weird Axelmusic put region free on Horton, because Movietyme are always right ...)

So HollywoodGuy, if there is no theatrical window to protect (or alternative distributor even) for X-Files: Fight the Future, please can you explain why the US release is region locked and the European release is likely to be region free?

What possible, logical reason could there possibly be for that? We were told region encoding was vital for theatrical protection and local distributor protection (although how that argument stands up when the whole world is only split into 3 regions on Blu-ray itself is beyond me).

There's a reason most DVD players in Europe are purchased region free out of the box, and it's not just because people want to skip theatrical release windows. It's because without region free players, a lot of DVDs available in the US, even now, would be unavailable in Europe.

I found a back cover scan of the canadian release here:
http://www.axelmusic.com/productDetails/024543554639
and there's no region A symbol as far as I can see.

If anyone has a link to a backside picture of the US release it would be appreciated.

I have seen the US backcover and there is no region code on that one either. but people still say its LOCKED. So i don't know whats going on. And FOX is the dumbest company out there for locking a movie that has been out for 10 years now. Also Home Alone is supoosed to be Region free. So i have no ****ing clue what this imbecil company is on about and thinking
