Will a German release of a non-region encoded UK Blu ray film still be region free? I want to get the German release of "Open Season," which according to http://bluray.liesinc.net/ is region free in the UK. Do you think the German release added a region lock or will it follow the same pattern as the UK version?

P.S. I have a US PS3.

im from Austraila and a 40gb ps3 costs around $700 here a 60gb costs $1000 so i checked the exchange rate for $700 aussie dollars to US dollars and it still runs you over $600 .

sadly australia is not a good idea.

The number one site to check for region coding:

http://bluray.liesinc.net/

Yes it´s region free as ALL Warner movies.

Anyone know if Sony BMG music blu-ray's are region free? I'm thinking especially about the David Gilmour and Shakira discs.

Default Ocean's Eleven, Twelve & Thirteen Gift Set

I know every say, that Warner is Region Free, but I just want to be sure:

Is Ocean's Eleven, Twelve & Thirteen Gift Set region free?
I don't want to spend $55.95 on at set, that won't play on my PS3-EU

Moretonbay, I think that Tudors will be region free, because it's Sony, and sony said that only day-and-date US titles will be coded A, so this one is region free.
I ordered it with second hostel, which i guess is region free too.

Malosch78, yes it's region free.

And Now My Question: Bad Santa
i know that cover says it's A only, but has anyone checked?

Yes, they are region free... As you self wrote every one say that ALL Warner titles are region free, the reason for this is because ALL titles from Warner are region free. If unsure for titles from other studios (you don't need to be unsure about Warner) take a look at the link in my signature.

Don't trust Amazon descriptions, the region listings are very unreliable.

AFAIK amazon always tells that discs are region coded (although in reality, some of them are not). but would be great if the simpsons is region free. I love region free titles.
