Thank you for answering, somehow whilst using the search feature on this site it failed to list the other titles I was looking for earlier, but I now see that two out of the three are actually locked to A, An American Crime is available from Amazon.de so I will be importing that soon.

I just wish Hard Candy and Smart People were also available unlocked on region B.

Though it appears "The Office" is a region free title, the theory that just because someone is from Region B does not necessarily mean that he is using a Region B player.

There are a number of sites out there that sell Region Free Blu-ray players.

I wasnt second guessing him, The member was asking for a second opinion. I am fully aware of whats available in the market. I own a region B player as well, along with my US players

I noticed on the main page that some of the Star Trek films are being released individually in the UK on 03/22, does anyone know if these will be region free or at least region A?

I have a region A player, and I've added a bunch of Region B titles to my amazon.co.uk cart. I'm a bit confused about the special feature playback though... it's hard to find specifics on which extras are in HD or SD. And are all SD extras on Region B BD encoded for PAL playback only? I'm specifically looking at the following titles and wondering what, if anything, won't play back on them... from what I gather the features will all play on Region A. But like I said, I'm confused about the extras...

Mission Impossible: Ultimate Missions Collection
Ultimate Bourne Collection
Once (I've read extras won't play on Region A)

Is there a more up-to-date thread with information on region codes?

I was trying to check on the U.S. release of Harry Potter Complete 8-Film Collection where BRDC lists it as "Region A" (with Regions B and C untested) but Amazon lists it as "All Regions".

In many other cases, BRDC lists releases as Region Free but Amazon lists them as Region A.

I would love to find a reliable go-to resource.
