The Eye.. I bought it used but it still was a waste of money, the PQ is horribly grainy and the film as boring as watching a wall can be!

$22 in tix for wifey and I, $4.75 for a medium drink, $5 for popcorn, and God-forbid she wants the $4 twizzlers. Almost a $40 night just to see a movie. Hell, even foregoing snacks is still $22.

Blind buy a Blu, like it, you keep it. If not, sell it. Still cheaper than "blind buying" at the theatre.
Easier then blind buy, get a nice HD movie channel for $12 a months, you see over 30 movies during that month, can DVR those that play during the day and you can watch it at night. No need to blind buy, no need to go and sell a BD if you did not like and then if you do see a movie you like, you can go and buy it on BD.

Nim's Island. PQ/AQ was great, but the story just didn't do it for me. My little sister likes it though.

I second SALVAGE. Honestly I dont think they even expected people to like this movie. It was probably just a random low budget piece-of-shit-horror film that was convenient to throw on blu for whatever reason and the studio figured that they could grab some suckers with the 8 dollar price tag.

No blu-ray worth throwing out the window or leaving on the sidewalk for some poor soul to find that I actually bought. I'm picky in what finds a place in my home.

But I did do the above for The Dark Knight (it was an unwanted gift). It took me 6 hours to get through it...I kept finding reason to pause this over-rated, over-blown drivel. I admit, I'm not a Batman fan, stopped watching them after Burton stopped filming them. But when in the hell did they make Batman sound like Darth Vader? Oy vey.

LOL...touché. Then I'm certain you do not want to know how many times I've seen Corpse Bride and will continue to see it.

Although I may kill myself If I ever have to see Beetlejuice or hear Day-O ever again.

I totally agree with you, I found The Dark Knight horribly boring and had to pause for every excuse I could find. I only liked Heath Ledger's scenes, I could have settled to watch just all his scenes together!

I found all the Batman movies before boring, specially the one with Beetlejuice on it and Kim Basinger, I will not watch one again, they are just not my type of movies.

WALL-E.

Now don't get me wrong its ok. But would rather have just watched it at the cinema or something. I couldn't sit through it again. Maybe pixars new movie will have more than 3 characters in it.

Italian job and Ocean's 13.

Like both movies PQ was lacking IMO. I know Oceans had that certain look to it for a reason but i just didnt like it. I have now counted on revies at highdefdigest before i buy. Only plus was i bought oceans for 8 and italian job for 12 so they can stay part of the collection

Got The Fugitive as one of the very first movies we ever had, we bought it along with the Ocean's Trilogy... you can imagine why I wish we'd gone for something else right?

The Fugitive looks horrible and sounds like poo, whereas the Ocean's movies look ok but sound-wise, aren't the best. Oh and I still can't get into Ocean's Thirteen, dunno why.

Bro, this is Pixar. Even if Disney's name wasn't enough to ensure confidence, Pixar should do so by an even greater level.

It's a great film overall and is, in my own personal opinion, going to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Picture. It's already received rave reviews all over the place, such as here.

My opinion of WALL-E is based on lack of action, story or anything to connect to. It has its moments but there certainly isn't enough there for me to pop the disc in again. I think Short circuit did the idea better personally.

If your thinking along the lines of Monsters inc, Finding nemo or the incredibles believe me you will be disappointed. Think the pace of 2001 a space odyssey, a robot and a love story in the bitter wilderness of a place where you can hear the wind blow most of the time.

War and Michael Clayton actually. This was the only time I can recall that I've blind bought two Blus without either seeing the movie or doing my research on the Blu reviews. These 2 movies are terrible IMO.

War is a jumbled mess. Michael Clayton was a terrible movie that you can never get into IMO on a crappy early WB disc.

Just my opinions, but I was able to sell both and I'm glad I did.
