CJ7 import

only because i did not think it was comming to the USA so i found a HK import, spent $40 and there were no extras at all... found out a couple weeks later it was coming to USA. now when i check the local version it has a bunch of extras. plus the copy i have has a diff cover and on the back there is no bar code and in tiny print, it says something bout only being sold in country of origin and then it said USA or Canada. it was weird...

love the movie though, and the picture quality was by FAR better than the theater saw it at.

oh and black snake moan, bought cause studio went to hddvd exclusive, i haven't even opened it, good soundtrack though.

Default Fugitive

Fugitive also is a movie I wish I didn't buy on blu. Blu-ray isn't better than the standard dvd.

I loved I am legend. If the movie can't suspend your disbelief, a movie will never entertain you. You're right the CGI wasn't that good though. I love zombie movies and will smith.

I Am Legend was very promising for the first 20 minutes or so...then the zombies showed up....UGH. They would've been much better off with real stuntmen in make-up. Like the Dawn of the Dead remake.

I also regret getting March of the Penguins. Grainy, SD PQ.
I love the movie though. Should have kept the DVD.

Shoot 'em up is another one, what a waste of time.

Anyone want it?
This is probably my favorite movie ever, but I avoided purchasing the blu based on comments like these. I was forced to do some investigation, and it looks like some parts of the original film went missing. Check out the wiki article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Payback_(film)

I never buy a movie I haven't seen first, so my regrets must be due to the quality of the transfer.

And two releases that really disappointed me was Clear & Present Danger and Patriot Games. Love the movies, but sold these the day after I watched them...

Default Starship Troopers

Starship Troopers picture isn't as good as the blu-ray review. Usually the review is dead on. I'm beginning to regret the purchase.

Also, I'm having audio anomalies pop up on my kill bills from Amazon. I hope I don't regret getting these too.

I made a horrible mistake of blind-buying Disney's The Game Plan and I almost made the same mistake with The Happening (good thing I rented that movie first). The Game Plan was just bad.

If it were not for the amazing PQ of House of 1000 Corpses...I might have regretted that one. The PQ just barely makes up for the acting and writing.

Patton and Blade Runner. I bought them because they are supposed to be classics. Truth be told they are both really boring. I have since traded them in.

I blind bought Alexander on blu at best buy during the sale, not sure if I should have or not... I haven't watched it yet, but have a bit of buyers remorse as I probably should have rented first

Walk Hard. I thought the movie was just passably funny, but I new after the credits rolled that I would never watch it again.

MI:2. I just thought the presentation was bad. The transfer might have been fine, but the print was beat to death. Also, no lossless audio? WTF!

I think Captain Spaulding in the menu is worth the price of the disc alone!

I happen to like this movie, but I can understand that many may not.....

And to my fellow Wolverine's fan who said "Patton and Blade Runner were BORING"

THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!!

I suggest you stay away from blind-buying movies I guess, because those are both great in my opinion, as well as many others (and "Boring" is something I certainly can't relate with on them)

I got a deal on Close Encounters, and I know it is a classic. It's just not for me.
