Crank and Condemned. Both were nightmarically bad.

As much as I love almost all the Pixar movies, I wish I had not bought the collection of shorts. What makes it even worse is that it's the only blu ray I actually paid $29.99 for. Ouch!

Jesse James was one...managed to trade that one. Next to that I still have doomsday and home of the brave tainting my beautiful collection.

"Jumper" - one of the worst films of all time; plus, the technical side is not very impressive as well (especially audio quality).
"Entrapment" - totally disappointing edition, as far as video & audio quality is concerned.

Personally, I have two I didn't like and wish I never bought.

Jesse James movie with Brad Pitt & Crank. I'll never watch them again. Watching them one time was hard enough. Sometimes I wonder why some movies get green lighted. I hate to admit it but sometimes the trailors and/or the covers of some movies are better than the actual movie. Sometimes I fall for them.
hollow man and silver surfer they were sold months ago.

Ghost Rider
Ice Age: The Meltdown
March of the Penguins
Oceans 13
Predator (great movie/ bad disc)
SWAT
Short Circuit(Was enjoyable to see it again, but I'll never watch it again)
Terminator 1 (same story as Short Circuit)
Both Underworld movies
We Own the Night

I guess the main reason for the remorse is that I know I'll never watch any of these movies ever again. But they were all 'ok' the first time around. Except for Ghost Rider.

Again this is just my opinion. I'd ditch some more in my collection but the woman probably wouldn't like that too much

Justin Timberlake - Live from NY - audio sucks
Space Ace - looks great but it's still very hard to play, not worth it

i love all the movies in my collection that i bought for me. I just traded the one movie i knew i wasnt going to watch again cause it to too long which is pearl harbor to wormwaper. I was thinking i should watch it one last time with linear pcm instead of bitstream since the last time i watched i was using optical instead of hdmi but couldnt bare to sit through that long movie again.

Its funny though the old saying of someone else's treasure is so tru already two possible trades or sells before i posted this. Thank God for the trading forum.

Altough i just got done watching Casino the other night and it is longer but i'll probally watch it again in a month or so... lol

SUPERMAN RETURNS

Just for the fact that when I bought it, it had the 5.1 audio track. When I heard it was being re-released with a True HD track, I pawned it because I thought it would be here in Regina right away, but no dice.

The fountain.

even though many here said it was bad (though some said it was good) the back cover said:
Quote:
Yesterday, today tomorrow. Past, present, future. Through time and space, one man embarks on a bold 1000-year odyssey to defeat humankind's most indomitable foeeath.
Hugh Jackman plays that man, devoted to one woman and determined to protect her from forces that threaten her existance...
so thought "Sounds like a cool sci-fi, a guy trying to save his girls life and managing to go through time to do so." But no, it is a artsy morality movie about a doctor who finds out his wife has cancer and instead of spending the remaining days with her all he does is lock himself in his lab trying to find the cure, and eventually once she dies he realizes (too late) that instead of trying to extend her life he should have made the most of the time he could have had with her. But it is interspersed with his day dreams of the past and future, so I guess that explains the back cover about him going through time to find eternal life for his wife. NOT!!

I don't know if it is that I feel ripped off (did not get the story I expected) or that it is because I was just not in the right mood (I am a firm believer that you need to be in the right state of mind for a movie, you don't want a serious drama when you are in the mood for a comedy and sometimes you are not in the right mood for a goofy slapstick) maybe I might re give it a chance, but at this point I think it is definitely a waste of money (I did not even let my BIL borrow it when he asked , which shows how much I hated it)

How can you be remorseful about a purchase you never made?

Every movie deserves the green light to be put on Blu-ray. If one person doesn't like it, there are still other people who love the movie.

Netflix usually save me because,... If I'm not sure I will like something, I rent it first.

Rented and hated Sunshine, the Happening, Payback, War, Across the Universe, and more that I can't even recall because they were so bad.

The only Blu Ray I felt compelled to rid myself of was UltraViolet which I bought used and then took and sold back.
