I second that.

Also RE: Degeneration was horrible, and I actually had high hopes for that one..

There are a bunch of them that I wished I wouldn't have purchased. Quite a few to list. I am going to be a lot more selective with my BD purchases in 2009.

It has to be 88 Minutes or 10,000 B.C. If you have seen either of these then there is no explanation needed.

I blind bought Stealth, after watching it for 35 minutes I shut it off real disappointed in my purchase. The only other one I wish I didn't buy was also another blind buy, it was The Covenent. Pretty good sound on both of them but movie-wise they were garbage up the yin yang.

AVP:R is a guilty pleasure of mine. I watch it all the time.

The ones I regret buying: FFour: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Indy 4 (the special feature are better than the movie).

I need a way to unload Strangers, Forgetting Sarah Marshall Unrated, and Hancock.

Hancock was a moment of weakness, Strangers just has zero replay value, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall Unrated... seriously... I don't want male or female full frontal in any movie if I'm going to watch it more than once.

Kudos to Doomsday to being a movie I thought I'd regret buying driving it home from the store (again a moment of weakness), but that movie's really grown on me as a modern day MadMax with decent production values.

I regret buying Black Snake Moan.

It is a good quality disk but slow movie that I can't see myself watching often.

None. I never get ahead of myself. The only regret I would have is buying my first two BD's at Wal-Mart rather than picking them up from Amazon. Although I do think 2001: A Space Odyssey being $17 is a bit much considering how much it is on DVD (like $5). Same with Blade Runner.. which I bought on DVD for $2.

Blind bought Unforgiven (Clint Eastwood) when it was on sale, based on good PQ reviews. I found it pretty boring, and have only watched it once.

The Doors.

Great story, excellent job by Val Kilmer, could have been 30 minutes shorter. Would have been a better rental.

Cool I wish I never bought

Burn After Reading

Every preview I saw for this movie made me want to see it, but I never got out to theaters in time to watch it. It was one of my "Movies I must own even though Ive never seen it", and now I wish I passed on it. I just couldn't get into it.

So, if anyone out there wants this movie and will trade or whatever, I'm more than willing to give it up.

Batman Begins and Dark Knight.

I could have saved a lot of money just getting the single-disc standard DVD's and upconverted them...

Blind bought The Golden Compass. Didn't enjoy it at all and I'll probably never watch it again. That's, to date, my only blind buy on any format that I truly regret. Also, could do without Hitch. I like the movie well enough, but not sure why I decided I should own it.
