28 Days Later : Love the movie but its the worse looking blu I have seen
Men In Black : It wasn't the same for me on blu maybe because the transfer sucked.

300 - crappy PQ, boring story, gave it away.
6th Day - poor transfer, gave it away.
Stargate Continuim - mediocre PQ, too long for it's story line and I dislike flashback types of movies, still have it for now.

EDIT: Stealth - crappy PQ, gave it away.

Apocalypto, Casino Royale and Bridge to Terabithia. Don't get me wrong, all three had exceptional PQ, but those are movies that I can just barely manage to watch once per year.. then they're back to gathering dust.

Thumbs down hated it!

"Natural Born Killers" !!

I didn't really like it when it first came out and hadn't seen it since. I got a $50.00 gift certificate at Target and the one I went to had a lousy selection and I thought I'd be all "sauve and sophisticated" and get that instead of say "Con Air" which I fricken LOVE..

Anyway, I saw it once and truly hate it now...

Anyone wanna buy a seen once, mint condition "Natural Born Killers"???

300 had/has "crappy PQ"? You must have been watching something else...

The only ones i regret spending money is on Untraceable and The Eye. Untraceable looked great when i first saw the trailer and i was looking forward to Diane Lane but sadly, this was just a below average thriller with a average transfer. I heard The Eye was decent so i decided to give it a chance, the movie sucked and so did alba but the transfer was great.

the closest I ever got to regretting buying a movie would be the Patriot, I like the movie, but it's just not the kind of movie I'll watch often, but I don't really regret it or wish I didn't buy it, I have only watched it like once since I bought it.

No, actually. MANY different people tried to dismiss the PQ as "Director Vision", but it still looked like ass!
The movie itself was just boring and a waste of money IMHO.
Hence, the reason I gave it away.

Look, if you liked it, great!

I thought it sucked. PQ sucked and the story sucked.
Is it ok for me to like or dislike a movie for whatever reason I choose?

Indy 4 - nice Blu-ray, truly awful film. Managed to recoup 80% of what I paid for it but the two hours are gone forever.

I don't regret any of my Blu-Ray purchases that I've made. The way I see it, whether I liked the movie at the end or not, it makes my BD collection that much bigger, and that is ultimately what I want.

Movies I regret buying:

300 - It was the "must own" movie when I got into Blu-Ray. I still don't know why. It was okay, but I have no desire to ever watch it again.

AVP: Requiem - As others have stated, this movie sucks. It's just a regurgitation of earlier Alien movie plot points with characters you don't give a crap about. The fact that it's so dark much of the movie that you can barely make out anything doesn't help either.

Lost Season 3 - I watched Season 1 when it was on TV and found the show completely frustrating in the way that half of each episode was flashbacks and how the story advanced at a snail's pace (and really wasn't particularly interesting). I picked up Season 3 when Amazon had it cheap to see if maybe the show had improved. It hadn't, in fact it now seemed to feature the characters making INCREDIBLY stupid decisions (or maybe the writers weren't revealing why it wasn't stupid at that point).

V for Vendetta - It's a great movie, but I'm stuck with the Dolby Digital soundtrack since I can't do TrueHD yet. And I'm pissed that the English DD sounds like crap while the foreign DD tracks sound much better.

Sleeping Beauty - I love the disc but now it depresses me I have to wait until some time next spring for the next Disney Platinum release on Blu-Ray. Worse, the next one that I'm really interested in, Snow White, is a year away and then Beauty and the Beast is a truly depressing 2 years away (and there's no word on Cinderella or Aladdin yet).
