Waterhorse - pretty boring
50 First Dates - not a fan of Adam Sandler and Drew Berrymore, somewhat disappoint transfer to blu ray
House of Furry - really bad acting, somewhat disappoint transfer to blu ray
The Mummy -great movie, disappointing transfer to blu, blury mess
The Mummy Returns - great movie, disappointing transfer to blu, blury mess
Enter the Dragon - great classic, transfer to blu was disappointing
The Road Warrior - great classic, transfer to blu was disappointing
Um The Mummy and Mummy Returns are one of the best transfers. You may want to check your equipment or need glasses. Most reviews give the video a 4.5 to 5 rating.

Stir Of Echoes, it's a cheap knock off of The Sixth Sense. Bad movie! Luckily, I got it for free.

I just bought Stir of Echoes. I love that movie. Technically Stir of Echoes came out first. It was premiered in Germany in July and The Sixth Sense premiered in Philly in August.

Default Riddick !!

Interesting. I liked AVP II. I do believe it was worse than AVP I. Interesting to see so many not liking that film.

I love Riddick and Riddick II. I can't wait till they're on blu, but I think a lot people won't like either. Riddick II didn't do well at the theater at all.

I haven't watche my Godfather trilogy yet, but I suspect I'm going to regret buying that. I hear the picture isn't very good. It really needed to be remastered not just restored. Dark City and Fifth Element look like they came out yesterday.

It's kind of funny, because this reminds me of my laserdisc days. Back then, it was older men buying all sorts of terrible titles to show off their home theater room.

I remember some guy bragging about how good Curly Sue looked and sounded on his system.

I guess the guys have gotten younger and the discs are smaller, but people still shell out lots of cash on unusual blind buys.

Not really.
I don't go to theaters - Don't go to too many places anymore.
Many/most times the first time I see a movie is when - I BUY IT.

Watch the trailers - roll the dice. Hope I don't crapout.

Exactly! That T2 Blu-ray is exactly why I read reviews of every Blu-ray's PQ and AQ before I buy them now. That is the point of Blu-ray over dvd isn't it? Better picture and sound. I learned my lesson.

The movie itself was just boring and a waste of money IMHO.
Hence, the reason I gave it away.

Look, if you liked it, great!

I thought it sucked. PQ sucked and the story sucked.
Is it ok for me to like or dislike a movie for whatever reason I choose?
You don't seem to understand just what good PQ is. It's easily tier one material.

Hitman.

Saw it twice in the theater, and regretted spending 30 bucks when the Blu-ray came out.

I think the movie sucked, you seem to think it was great - perhaps you haven't seen a BD with great PQ - or your display is so fried all BDs look the same.

Tier 1? LMAO!

Is that you mj?
