That’s one of the types of alternative optical schemes designed to exploit the 3rd dimension.
Are you with Y. Kawata?

And I was posting this as you posted that.

Just to be clear to all J.D.s that are reading this thread.
Clearly it's about Prime Rib!

I thought you guys might want to know this. My sister has worked at Paramount for 8 years now, coming from Fox before that..(I have 3 relatives at 3 different studios, which makes me wonder why the h*ll I am still in Minnesota) and the Paramount announcement is only days away, if not tomorrow, then definately within the next week. Titles are going to please. Not trying to take the limelight away from Penton because his info here has been awesome, and this is his thread (I hope this doesn't offend you Penton) but I felt this was one time I thought everyone here would want to know this.. Since there are many women working at Para Home Video, I don't have to worry about anyone finding out who she is, and she is not posting this anyway.

One other thing, there are several people at Paramount Home Video that read threads on these high def forums. They do hear your voices there. As an example, they are well aware of the lossless sound (or lack of) issue. My sister reads the threads too, and while she is not in a position to make decisions, she does relay this information to the decision-making level and I can tell you that this issue has been discussed there recently and reaction was positive for lossless.

Needless to say, much has been going on there behind the scenes since January 4 (after Warner turned blu).

How about now.
That T.K. Arnold dude that was inappropriately bashed on the Insider's Thread of AVS just posted the news (via The Hollywood Reporter) from Paramount.

Penton, I know how you feel about the frustration of this and am glad I don't do it. I have known this for 2 weeks and my sister made me keep my mouth shut, and it sucked. I discussed this last night on high def digest under their "last man standing: Paramount" thread and only a few believed me lol.

Thanks Penton-man for the hard work keeping us informed and entertained throughout this format war. I know you have a thing for provocative images. Here is one I came across tonight ...enjoy.

That I don't know but I will say Transformers and Beowolf fans will be getting off soon. The titles they had on blu-ray previous will be available if not immediately, very shortly. I prefer not to answer anything else here as this is Penton's thread and I don't want to offend him or take it over because I respect what he is doing here. Thanks.

Was their anyone, be it Blu-ray insiders or neutrals posting positive Blu-ray analyses, who wasen't bashed by Amir in their Insiders Thread?

Does anyone know if he was truly 'fired' or made the descision to retire himself from Microsoft? Was he so outspoken in the HD formatwar, that he became a burden for Microsoft and the Microsoft brand?

(sorry if this is off-topic)

Great news with regards to Paramount.
